Bought these on a whim due to the fact they were discounted as second-hand. They were as I expected them to be...rather plastic sounding and high pitched compared to the JBL Stadium GTO750T and Polk DB1001 that I also bought to do a sound comparison. In truth, the chromed voice coil dome is very 1970s or 1980s. For the money there are much better options like the JBL and Polk. The only thing appealing about thses would've been the ease of mounting and I believe that is why they're marketed. It is for those that don't want to tear into their cars or trucks. That's just lazy and your audio will suffer for it. Buy something else.
