A lovely instrument at a good price . Just that bit different from the acoustic . Have a play with an effect pedal , it's fantastic.

I already knew that the mandolin was suitable because I had tried it in a shop several times. However, this was significantly cheaper than in the shop! One small niggle is that the tone knob was not securely attached. Nothing that a bit of glue wouldn't fix.

Very please with the purchase. Tone is very nice for a solid body and of course the 4 string play is great.

Wow,,, fun stuff....My brother who is a professional mandolin player loves his. I bought him one for his birthday. Nice sound, easy to play. Great price too! I will get better with this, and I can even stand myself....and the cats don't run away.

A really lovely mandolin that has a very different sound to my Ovation mandolin. The strings, of course, are different but the 4-string (rather than 8) system makes for easier fretting. The strings are a little cheap as they de-tune quickly but that's a weakness in all new mandolins and replacing them is always the first action one should take. I use my Mando in blues, jazz and ambient compositions and this electric one fits neatly in my studio set-up. A great price for a great tone.
