The Uviator Protective CatchMask is constructed with Kensington's newest High UV Textilene , Solar Screen, that has a 90% UV rating. The CatchMask feature is a double locking hook and loop throat closure which has an opening designed to clip a lead rope through, and allows you to lead your horse from one place to another. The mask’s interior is lined with soft fleece at sensitive spots to prevent rubbing, and it is web trimmed. This design allows both ears and the forelock to come through the top of the mask.

While the mask might be a good UV protection and is sturdy. However, after 5 days of use the throat closure started to fray. That is not what I expect from a fly mask costing close to $70.

This will clearly reduce UV on my appaloosa gelding's eyes. I encourage you to measure your horse before buying.

Comes in nice colors and well made. Rough horses in the field WILL rip the Velcro fastening but you can register it for 50% replacement charge.

I bought this for my mule that has a squamous cell carcinoma on her eye lid. It is easy to put on, cleans up well, and so far has not caused any rubbing. Good durability.

My mare is suffering with uveitis and she loves this mask. When I remove it to put her eye meds in, she keeps trying to stick her head back into it. It fits like a glove. After several weeks of use there is no sagging in the eye area and she has not gotten it off.

This is an awesome mask! My guy has an old eye injury and requires the UV protection. I put off ordering bc of the price but finally decided to purchase one. It's very durable, nicer quality then the cheaper ones, fits my guy perfectly and stays in place. The people sunglasses are a nice touch too

Sturdy, stylish, great fit and blocks 90% of UV...and it comes with an ingenious opening to attach a lead, so you don't have to put a halter on as well. Oh- and an amazing warranty. My mare has some eye issues, so I've bought two because she wears one every day, the whole time she is turned out. And with just a little hose off when she comes in, they still look brand new after more than a month. I highly recommend this mask.
