Step 1
Align the positioning flange with original factory nut and press it down by hand.
Step 2
Rotate the belt tool to tighten the screw
head and original factory nut.
Step 3
Lift up the handle 90° to press the belt pulley. and then you can easily remove old drive belt and replace it with new one.

I wanted something quicker and easier to change the belt on my Can Am X3 and Defender. I have not used out in the field with a broken belt but I did a trial run in the garage. I replaced a perfectly good belt based on time and mileage. This tool sped up the job. I do wish the tool was a little higher quality. Threads do not seem to be highly precise and may wear faster than they should. I am hoping it performs flawlessly in an emergency out on the trail.

This tool fits perfectly and works as described letting you change your belt in minuets and get back to riding. If you have a 64in machine the end of the tool just barley touches the tire but the tool can still fully extend. I have not had any problems with mine.

The Belt Changing Tool did not arrive with the Positioning Flange.
