This carrier has a huge capacity for carrying items for trail camping with littles. Comfortable and very safe.

We've put many hours into this carrier. I'm 5'9" and in good shape. The carrier fits me well and is not overly burdensome or difficult to put on. The torso length adjustment is almost at the minimum for me. I wouldn't recommend for smaller people, but wouldn't rule out the idea. Baby's mom finds the carrier uncomfortably heavy.Baby was almost 1 when we purchased, he enjoys riding in carrier, and stays comfortable and secure over fairly rough terrain, and navigates easily through crowded urban environments. He has fallen asleep anytime he's been in for over an hour. So glad we used this at the airport instead of a stroller as it kept my hands free. The sunny shade version is a must.Cons: It takes up about as much space as a small stroller, but is much lighter. Baby's legs get caught and stuck going into carrier and coming out. Difficult to adjust baby straps with big hands.Glad I purchased, but it requires patience and strength to use. You will get lots of comments about how cool it is, whenever you go out.

Purchased this for our 14 month old but would fit our 3.5 year old too. The most notable features of the PerfectFIT Signature: adjustable height for both the wearer and the child, several storage pockets (including a pair on the waist allowing quick access to phone, snacks, water), and the sun shade which is a must for summer in Texas. Our 14mo old (22 lbs 23in) was very comfortableAnd when they eventually fell asleep and their little head was hanging over the edge we unsnapped the drool pad and repositioned it to cushion our little ones head and keep it from hanging.I have been backpacking for years (without kids) and am particularly impressed with how comfortable if it’s both myself (5ft) and my husband (6ft). Is it as comfortable as a pack made specifically for a small or large frame, no but, for an adjustable from it’s quite impressive. We have only used this for day hikes so far but plan do take it in some overnight trips soon.

We're really happy with our Kelty Journey Perfect Fit Child carrier. It is very well designed and made with quality materials. Any sewing or stitching is very nice and strong, without looking sloppy or weak. All of the adjustment straps and padding is perfectly done too. The child will feel top heavy at first, but soon after it will be comfy for you and your kid. Also helps when you have gear in the nice sized pouches/compartments that sit behind or below the child. The sunshade is brilliantly done and is very easy to take out/put away. It's worth spending a little more on something like this!

This backpack is so excellent and a damn good investment, especially during the 2020 age of Covid that we currently find ourselves in... This has allowed us to easily trek into the wilderness and get our much-needed outside time away from other people. Our son (who's almost one) was unsure of it at first and fussed a bit the first time we put him in it but has since grown to like being in his "cockpit". He sleeps comfortably on long hikes and the shade cover keeps him protected from the sun. There's enough room in the main pocket to facilitate a camel pack bladder and it has plenty of pockets to fit all of our essentials (diapers, wipes, snacks, water, sunblock... etc).It was a bit of an investment -- but, TOTALLY worth it. I highly recommend this pack for families on the go. :)

I'm 5'10 wide shoulders, my wife is 4"-11- It's quick to adjust between the two of us. Sits nicely on the hips and has easy in and out. No side entry so as my boy gets older it will be harder to get him in and out. When the stand is extended it has a firm base and sits nicely. Plenty of storage for extra clothes, diapers and snacks. Sunshade is great, and the washable drool pad a great feature.Durable and high quality, does not feel cheap at all.I would compare this straight up with the Osprey. It is on the larger size, basically consider it on par with a internal frame hiking backpack It's not small by any means. But the easy adjust, high quality material and good build quality I'm looking forward to many hikes with this!

We just received our Kelty carrier yesterday and used it for a hike today. It was PERFECT!!Our 23lb 1yr old fit perfectly in the highest seat setting (it is not advertised but the seat height can be adjusted! So cool) so im excited he will be able to fit in it for awhile :-DOur son is pretty pickey when it comes to comfort, he was SO comfortable in this that he even slept! The only thing it does not allow that i do wish it did was an easier way to clean the padding baby sits on. I am just thinking if our son has a leek or any accident it may be hard to clean. The bib section is removable to wash, just wish the part baby sits on was the same. This was not something that made me even take a star off because it is SO awesome otherwise.NOTE: some of the reviews say it is a small compartment to get your child into, i can almost guarantee it is because they did not tighten the correct straps before putting their child in. We made the same mistake at 1st (we did not read the instruction booklet it comes with that includes VERY clear instructions of how to use the carrier), be sure to tighten the straps that hold the child cockpit open as wide as possible before putting your child in:)Tytyty to this wonderful company:-D honestly this is something that was a bit over our price range BUT it is worth EVERY penny!
