Heavy and good quality for the money. I am using it for bag chains so I’m not sure how it holds up to actual towing or heavy duty usage. But it works and feels good for my intentions for it!

I needed a thin mooring chain for winter buoy work and this fills the bill. I attach it to heavy chain and drop it down and attach the end to a buoy to float over the site.

The chain is a polished stainless, and actually looks nice. It could easily be used for decorative purposes such as hanging lights, but I needed it to chain my dog when he goes outside. I got tired of cheap swingset chains that rust, and wire ropes that fail. This will outlast the dog, unfortunately....but I won't have to worry about him getting loose due to rust.I had previously checked the big box retailers like Lowes and HD, and found no decent alternative, especially for this price.

The chain is nice looking, shiny to almost a polish. Stainless should stay nice for a long time. The links look strong but I deducted a star because some of the welds on the links are not completely made around the joint, some not much more than half the way around. This could compromise the strength slightly though it is plenty strong for my use.
