Chain itself was fine quality for the price, but buyer beware - chain was not 36" as stated in the product listing, it was only 33", so will be returning as I needed an 36" chain exactly.

I got this to hang plants from some hooks on the ceiling in my new to me old house. I even got a hook thing on a pole to lift the chain up there because my ceilings are almost 11 feet tall and I don't climb ladders if I can help it. Unfortunately, the hook thing didn't work and the chain is very heavy. I will have to figure something else out. They look nice though.

This is a review for "36 inches Long 11 Gauge Steel Chain Extension for Hanging Plants Strong Hold with S-hook for connection, Max Load of 40 Pounds (1 Pack, White)"I needed this for a hanging lamp in my living room. This worked great. My lamp already had the plugs installed on the wires, so in order to get the lamp wire woven through the chain pieces, I treated the chain links as if they were jump rings in jewelry and opened them up, added the wire and reclosed them. It took a bit of hand strength and two full sized pliers (not jewelry pliers) but is definitely doable.This worked out great for my needs. The white is appreciated, so the chain blends in with the ceiling as much as possible.

These are sturdy enough for lighter-weight objects like plants, bird feeders and lights. The links are not welded shut so you can adjust the length as needed, but if you do, it's likely you'll scrape off the white coating. These are not listed as being stainless, so the white is a protective coat. It feels like a paint rather than a plastic coating While you do get S hooks with these, I wouldn't use those to hang anything outdoors as the open curves are very wide, making it easy for items to slip off. They're a pretty good value for two chains and somewhat decorative with the color coating.

This three-foot lightweight chain comes with a single S hook for hanging or attaching it. Like a flexible trellis, I plan to use the chain to guide a philodendron vine.

Exactly what the product page says - a simple lightweight metal chain. I'm using it to hang some lighting & a pot & pan rack. It says the max load is 40 pounds, but I'm nowhere near that. Very easy to incorporate the chain into versatile projects.

Does what it needs to do. A little heavier duty than what I had for a hanging planter.
