So the product is 4" wide as it says, however, I was getting them to replace the step pads on my running bars (that are also 4" wide) and I should have went with 3" wide step pads. I say this because these pads do not lay flush against the bars along the outer edges since the bars have curved edges. But I ordered 4" because that is the stated size of the ones I took off. Also, the adhesive on these things is useless unless you are sticking them on paper (sarcasm intended). This is why I rated 3 stars for the product. We used screws to attach them but only time will tell if the edges will bow up and I am afraid they will.

I thought this product was a good value they are rubber stick on but the adhesive wasn't the best. I used screws to attach it to my running boards for safety and a tight fit. They have been on there a few months. And looks good

Truck running boards , plastic was broken. Bars were still perfect. Removed old plastic and stuck these as treads to step on. Pure rubber, suoer adhesive and look great. Saved from replacing the nerf bars.

Products looks great and I just installed on my RV Bumper as the Step under the ladder. But, one of the 2 steps in the package did not have an adhesive backing. I contacted Amzaon and they said there was no returns - repplacments or refunds. I then contacted the Manufacturer and they immediately said they would send a repalcement. No hassle just great customer support. The product looks great and shoud do the trick as a periect replacement or addition to your RV Bumper Step or RV Entry was steps. RJM Yonkers NY

I tried to put this on the Power Wheels car I have for kids and they immediately fell off. I tried to use some carpet tape to attach them and it still fell off. Although these things are heavy and durable, they will not work for Power Wheels

I wanted to use this to retread some lawn mower back wheels. The adhesive backing was not intended for that purpose however. I used some construction adhesive to help out. Overall they work acceptable but the wheels still slip some cutting the lawn. I guess the nubs aren't quite defined enough for my use.

This was used on my lund truck running board. My rubber pad was starting to fall off. This was a perfect replacement pad for the repair.

Have not applied yet due to the cold temperatures in Western Canada. I am planning on using this as protection on my trucks door sills. Brand new truck and already scratches from feet hitting the sills when getting in and out. I just recently ordered a second set. I wanted to check the quality and make sure that they would fit. Will have to use scissors to do a bit of trimming but should work out great and save a lot of $$. Would order again.

Let's start off with the #1 thing you need to know.... The "adhesive" on the bottom is not actually an adhesive... It's not meant to be sticky... It is for anti skid purposes... And as far as that goes, it works great, you can drop it onto just about any surface, and it will not budge. If it were actually an adhesive, as advertised, I would give 5 stars. However, I am giving it 4 stars because, I still feel it does what it's intended to do... Provide an anti skid surface. If you want this to be a permanent installation, then I recommend mounting it with screws, or a permanent adhesive. One thing to note... If you do plan to use a permanent adhesive, be sure to remove the existing layer on the bottom. It comes off fairly easily. I took the time to slowly peel it all of, but some sand paper would probably be quicker, and it would rough up the bottom a bit for your new adhesive to grab onto. For my personal use, I just wanted to find some sort of diamond plate rubber matting that I could use on the foot pedals of my motorcycle lift. I removed the existing "adhesive" and super glued it on, then trimmed the excess. So far I'm pretty happy with it.

This is the second set of step treads we have purchased. We bought these to put on wooden steps to keep from slipping in the rain or cold. They are great, the tread is deep and really allows your foot to grip the step and prevent falling. The only downside, and it's minor, is that the sticky back doesn't stay sticky. After the winter cold weather the sticky was gone. We've nailed them in place and they continue to work beautifully.

Using on the rear bumper of my Chrysler Pacifica for traction. My foster golden retriever was skittish about hopping into the rear because his feet slipped on the plastic bumper. After cleaning according to instructions, I stuck the pads to the bumper. So far so good. He jumps right in now, mostly. I doubt the adhesive will last long, so minus 1 star. Minus another because the bumper is slightly curved and the pads are rectangle, so it doesn't look like OE. On the whole, I'm satisfied. They weren't designed to do what I'm using them for, so how can I complain?Update 1/24/19Adhesive is outstanding. These are still firmly attached to my bumper, and I leave my car outside a lot. They've actually outlasted the dog, who's 11 now with bad hips and can't jump in the car anymore.
