5🌟 ! Read this review! I'm a single mom, and we all know we will never ask for help if we don't have to. THESE ARE AMAZING!! They rolled over medium carpet, hardwood(soft wheels no scratches)door thresholds, both with ease. I moved a VERY heavy dresser across the house, around doorways, it was stupid easy. The dollies even rotate around the doorways or if something got in the way. I did have a dresser with 4 posts, so maybe that made it easier, but this easily one of the best purchases EVER! 10/10 recommend!

I moved a lot of large furniture with these, but they do tend to skitter out from the item being moved, leaving it on three legs instead of four. They are sturdy and well made.

I bought these dollies to move a baby grand piano across a medium pile carpet. I liked the U shape because I thought that they would be more stable, and I wouldn't have to lift the piano as high (baby grands are HEAVY, ~200 pounds per leg, definitely a two-person lift). On the first attempt, the dolly immediately flipped out from under the piano leg as soon as I started pushing. On closer examination, I discovered that these dollies have a fatal flaw. With a heavy load on a carpet, the front two wheels will naturally align perpendicularly to the direction of movement. The dolly wheels will also rotate backwards toward the center of the dolly. Since the wheels are offset from their pivot points, this means that the distance between the center of the dolly and the forward balance point (a line drawn through the center of the front two wheels) is reduced to only about one inch. If the piano moves past this balance point, the dolly flips. This is illustrated in the first photo. Imagine the dolly is being pushed to the right which orients the wheels as shown. The left edge of the ruler is in line with the wheel axles and represents the tipping point. It's easy to see how close this is to the hole in the center. The second photo shows my solution. I bought a 2.5" PVC end cap, drilled a hole in the center, and bolted it to the dolly with a 3/8" x 1" carriage bolt and a fender washer. My second moving attempt with this solution also failed as there was still too much movement allowed for the piano wheel. I then filled in the gap inside the cap with a very short piece of 2.5" pipe and a second piece of 1.5" pipe. This constrained the piano wheel so that it couldn't move from the center point and my next attempt worked perfectly. If you try something like this start with a smaller PVC cap.Fortunately, both times that the dolly flipped it was on a carpeted surface and no damage was done to the floor or the piano. Even if you are moving on a tile or wood floor where the pushing forces are a lot lower, I think you could still run into this problem and a flipped dolly could result in damage. Make sure that whatever you are moving is either resting on all three top pads or is held centered in the middle of the dolly.

Purchased these and a few other furniture moving aids a while back. So far I use these the most often as they are so easy to slop under a leg and positioning the furniture on each dolly is easy with the design as the legs gravitate to the center of the dolly so it is stable when moving. As stated I purchased these and other dollys that were more flat. I use these by far more often because of the ease in using and the stability I have after the furniture is place on this dolly. The performance is superb, it can tolerate its weight limit and still be functional in moving the furniture without any issues. The quality of the dolly is great, and they store stacked on each other so not much real estate is used when being stored. They are great value for the money and if you are needing to move furniture I highly recommend this brand and design

Before buying the KEDSUM mover wheels I looked at a bunch of similar but cheaper products on Amazon and noticed that all of them had similar reviews saying that the wheels would often come out from under the furniture. The reason this happens is because cheaper products use lower quality (and smaller diameter) wheels which require more force and often leads to the wheels "catching" on the rug or rough surfaces. The KEDSUM mover wheels on the other-hand are high quality and VERY smooth. I used the KEDSUM wheels to move a very heavy home-gym and workout rack in my garage, and I was able to do it alone... on top of foam/rubber tiles! Highly recommend getting these over any other brand on Amazon.

The wheels are just big enough to roll over carpet. I have low pile carpet with a very thick soft underlay and this was able to roll over the carpet without getting stuck! Even moved a heavy bed very easily. My only complaint is the lever tool that came with the package. Pretty much useless, as the distance from the lifter to pivot point is too short so you cannot lift the furniture high enough on your first lift. Strange. Gotta wonder if it was just a random extra item they added to the package?

Thick material which holds the weight as advertised. Wheels move very well even over some minor uneven surfaces. Very pleased.

Needed to move a baby grand piano around while repainting the walls and ceiling. They worked so well decided to just leave them under the piano. Great product.
