We use made of high quality crystal glass made by skilled craftsmen.
We applied a new technique to the glass base by combining hand-painted Maki-e using natural lacquer (Urushi) and Kanazawa gold leaf, and developed "Kasyou Maki-e Glass".
When you pour Sake into it, the entire vessel glows golden yellow, and the bright red color of Red Fuji also stands out, giving the user a gorgeous mood.

This gorgeous glass arrives in a plush box which has silk type material lining.I cannot convey nor can I possibly begin to explain how exquisite this glass is. The workmanship and quality is perfect.I personally expected a lightweight delicate glass but it isn’t. It is a decent weight and thickness. The sides of the glass have a texture to them and when you look into the glass the rims and glass give a red gold hue but when you look from the sides they are clear.The Mt Fuji image at the bottom is stunning. I really am in awe of the workmanship and colours in this as well as the quality.Personally I have been very careful with the glass, and hand washed it in like warm water and put it back in its box after every use. It is my very personal and very beautiful saki glass.The instructions do give guidelines on the care of the glass but I honestly am unable to convey the beauty and quality of the glass in either words or pictures.

グラスにしてはお値段が高いですが、美術品と考えれば安い、そう言う商品だと思いますお酒を注ぐと芸術的で普段使いしたらヒヤヒヤして大変なくらい美しいです 正月など特別な時だけ大事に使いたいです

本製品を手に取った第一印象は、使用するのが勿体ない位とても綺麗です。試しに日本酒を注いで見ましたが、透き通った日本酒が、ゆらゆらして富士山がまたとても綺麗に見えます。毎日使うのは勿体ないので、我が家では、お祝いの時にでも、楽しみに使用する様に致します。
