I have purchased 2 other fountains in the past from this brand.I wanted to get a new fountain for my pups, so I got this one.Very disappointed that the one feature I need is the ability to see the water fill line. Now I've been needing to use a flashlight to see if it needs filled & then again while I'm refilling so it doesn't overflow.Now looking at other brands to replace this one, which is disappointing.

I have a small dog (8lbs) and a cat about the same size that share this. They both like it and have no hesitation about using it. At the begining I did have to encourage my dog to use it, but my cat was fine without any.I end up filling the water again every two weeks or so, it starts to make noise when it's low. Just make sure to fill it up all the way and not just until the noise goes away!We have had it for a couple months now and everything is still good. The pump works well, water still flows, and it's easy to clean. Clean at least once month. The top part will get a bit slimy, but everything else looks and feels clean when I go to clean it. The net catches any hair or fur that gets in the water.

Overall this is a nice water dish. I like the large capacity and the ease of cleaning. I like the indication light and the auto power off when the water level reaches its lowest point. The thing that I don't like is that I have to clean it 2-3 times a week due to the poor design of filter.The material the filter is made of is way too thick to filter the water properly. After 2 days of use the filter is full of slime from the dog's drool and needs to be rinsed. With that the water doesn't actually go through the filter it's just passing over the top and going directly back into the bowl, thus defeating the purpose of the filter.The bowl the filter sits in only has two slits for spouts for the return of the "filtered" water to the bowl. That also prohibits the filter from functioning properly. I think the charcoal filter needs to be redesigned for better performance, and it would work better and have less cleaning to be done. Well, I rated too soon. After the 3rd cleaning for the week, the pump stopped pumping the water it's running but now pumping the water as it should be. And because it's past the return time I'm stuck with a now useless water bowl and have to purchase another one.

The size is nice for 3 large dogs, I don’t have to constantly fill it. The light is nice to tell the water level although it doesn’t stick that well. We just used tape to keep it stationary.It is easy to clean but the filters do need to be replaced quite often.I’ve had it for a year and would recommend but my power adapter just blew out yesterday. I heard a little pop and it stopped working. I could smell that the adapter had fried. Now the problem is how to get that replacement cord. I don’t see it anywhere to purchase.Like the product if it continues to work!

The concept of this was great but the design is flawed. In order to put it back together after refilling and cleaning you have to line up the top to the pump, there are two pieces that go together, however the pump moves around and is not stable so it takes forever to line them up, plus it is so dark I have to use a lantern to see it enough to line it up. It takes more than 10 to 15 minutes to accomplish this feat. Also the handles on the sides are so slim it is very hard to get a grip to carry it over to the location to place the dish, I almost dropped it twice after filling.

Although the price was right, this was not a good buy. The item does not filter well (if at all), and most of the time, the pump for the water doesn't sit/work correctly. Every time your animal drinks from the bowl, it seems to require you to reset the entire pump system. If you have to refill the bowl, good luck getting the motor to stay in the bottom. Overall, it is a good price, but definitely not worth the time or effort. There are much better-automated water bowls on the market. Keep looking.

I have been through a number of these fountains on Amazon, and this one takes number one BY FAR!!! I was skeptical to purchase another one online. They all say perfect for large dogs, you get it, and it is too small for a hamster. This one is perfect! No sound whatsoever, not even when empty, and you know it is because the light changes from blue to red! No need to bend over or listen for it. You just take a peek when you walk by and right away you can tell. The capacity is a legitimate gallon. A FULL gallon. It is so nice to fill every day rather than multiple times a day for my two large boys. And the best part is my dogs will actually drink out of it. The others are so shallow that a dog cannot get a plentiful drink. This one, while it is still shallow, has a slightly angled grade down to the center of the reservoir. It actually allows for a dog to drink water in a natural way for them. The design and look of it is also very nice. The black/blue that I purchased looks somewhat sleek and contemporary, and I don't mind having such a quiet, sleek looking water bowl in my dining room. Gotta say, I LOVE it!! Thanks for selling a true product.

I purchased this 7L water fountain for my Maine coon cat and Holland lop rabbit since they were able to go through the 3L version within a day! I loved the 3L, and will continue using it as well in a separate room.This 7L is quiet, has a large top portion (so my picky cat doesn’t have his dainty whiskers touch anything), is low enough for both my large cat and small bunny to enjoy, and the little net thing will be very nice for catching their hair before it gets plastered to the filter.As for customer service, when I first received the product the pump was faulty - no light, no pumping, nothing. They replied the same night to my message, and sent me a replacement pump with no problems. I’m so happy I didn’t have to replace the whole thing, and my boys will never run out of water again!

We have not done well with this product however the seller has been good. Within a month of use the pump failed. The seller sent a new pump which took three weeks to arrive and then that pump failed after two weeks. The seller in their own accord provided a refund and has tried to trouble shoot the problem by having us take the entire pump apart and try ourselves to fix the problem. Still the level of customer service has been good.
