Using this in rechargeable Welch Allen Otoscope. It fits perfectly and charges as it should. No problems and so much cheaper than the original ones.

Slid into welch allyn handle and terminal broke/bent on initial install- pic of old oem battery next to new kastar-the kastar terminal pulled out of new battery and bent! ...note ; the old oem battery has terminal taped for recycling. I have other kastar batteries which were good, so this was disappointing at any price point... will return it

As mentioned by others, the terminal tab on the side is not well aligned out of the box. It needs to be flattened against the side of the battery so that it will fit in the battery holder (handle). This can easily be done by hand, and I simply flattened it out enough to allow it to be easily inserted and removed from the handle while still making good contact.The battery out of the box was nearly discharged, as expected for a Ni-Cd battery sitting in a warehouse for a while. It charged right up very quickly to 4.20V in a few hours, so keep that in mind. The battery seemed to be well regulated, did not overheat, and seems to hold a decent charge.
