Nice to see a manufacturer have replaceable parts and is serviceable with just a few screws. These went in in just a minute. Be sure to use the proper sized screwdriver and don't overtighten, they are small screws!

WORKED GREAT AT FIRST, THEN FOR THE PASS FEW MONTHS, I HAD TO RECHARGE MORE OFTEN. NOW AFTER A FULLCHARGE IT DOESN'T HOLD AT ALL. LISTING STATES "30 DAY MONEY BACK AND 3 YEAR MANUFACTURE WARRANTY"I WILL CONTACT SELLER AND UPDATE.

It took some wiggling to get it to fit, but it did fit and it works as advertised (SD-400).

Battery is actually a higher capacity than the one that comes out, but fits the case even better. Note where the black wire goes before you take the old one out.Lasts longer, charges quicker. Dog preferred the older, run down one that was in it.

I was surprised when I could no longer get my field trainer to hold a charge, but then it's been close to 6 years since I purchased it so that's a good run for a rechargeable battery. I searched the options for replacement and this was the best bang for the buck. Installation took all of 5 minutes and it holds a charge considerably longer than the battery that was originally in stalled in the field trainer. Only rating it 4 stars for now because I want to make sure it continues to hold a charge.

I was able to install this battery without a problem in my dog's sportdog field trainer 400 collar without a problem. It did take a while to charge the first time, but it lasts much longer than the original battery. If your collar is no longer working, like mine was, this is an affordable solution, and would recommend it to buying a new collar.

Purchased this to replace the battery in my Sportdog Sporthunter 800 training collar. Fit perfectly and the collar works like new again. Much cheaper than the replacement batteries on the Sportdog website, fast shipping. Would (and have) recommend to a friend.
