This tool is my favorite tool for cultivating and weeding near vegetable plants! It is precise and does well breaking up the soil! It is also well made. It has a heavy duty sharp blade that has not dulled with almost daily use and a high quality heavy duty handle! I highly recommend this tool!

I don't know, maybe I'm partial to my first, the handheld sickle with a curve. This one just seems awkward while cutting...it might just be me though.They are inexpensive enough to try them all out though. If you don't like the way it performs, you can always use them as Halloween props... especially the ones with the curve in the blade!

Unlike other tools like the I’ve seen this is made from one pice of metal instead of a blade welded on that soon breaks. Works great.

This is a fine gardening tool. Very sharp. It comes with a little plastic cover over the blade, but after using the garden sickle overtime, the little plastic cover will probably tear up. To preserve it a bit longer and for safety purposes, I took some cute duct tape I already had and wrapped it around the plastic sheath a couple of times making it thicker and hopefully not as easy to tear. Every gardener should have this tool in their arsenal. I can guarantee you’ll be happy with the purchase. The shorter handle makes it easy to control. It should go without saying, but allow me to remind you not to allow small children or teenagers to handle this tool. We don’t want the little chipmunks and buzzards to lose a finger.
