  • Approximately 40mm distance between mounting holes (Nickel mounting screws #6-32 x 3/8"); designed to upgrade the cheap and replace nasty stock switches that come with most guitars and basses
  • Nice durable sturdy switch with metal body - one piece shell to minimise "flexing" damage from any knocking on the switch tip
  • Solid construction with shielding and solid feeling switching, smooth detents and quiet, no extraneous noise when switching
  • Body is enclosed and screwed shut, to avoid things from effecting contact points, with ground tags on both sides
  • Enclosed ball bearing operation. The thick, cast metal case provides a superior base and housing for the toggle and circuit board, also provides a more solid feel to the overall switch when it is mounted to the guitar

These are my go-to blade switches. They are solid and perferm perfectly. The lugs are easy to solder. They fit a standard Stratocaster pickguard perfectly.

This is the second Kaish switch I've purchased and I am very happy. The first was a 5-way for a Stratocaster and this was the 3-way for a Telecaster. Both have been solid built with easy to access solder connection points. Each fit into the guitar BETTER than the Oak (round) switches that you normally see in this guitars. I'll be buying more of these the next time I'm working on a Strat or Tele project... good stuff!!!

This switch wires up a little differently than a conventional three-way blade switch because all the terminals are on the same side but I found a video online on how to wire it and it is extremely simple plus I like the fact that all the terminals are on the inside so it won't get up against my shielding. All I had to do was hook the hot wire from one of the pickups to one of the blade terminals and the same on the other one plus it had a terminal down below to hook the ground of the pickup on each side and then the middle that goes to your volume pot. The jumpers that you have to wire on a regular blade switch are already in place so really just three wires not counting the ground. It is heavy duty and works well I'll give it four stars because it did not come with the wiring diagram and I had to use different mounting screws for my application other than that a very good switch.

I bought this for a custom Ibanez RG that I built. EMG 81/89R pickups, EMG push/pull neck + bridge volume and tone pots, Switchcraft jack, Gotoh battery box. It's a straight forward install and the case is solid. It's functional and does the job, and feels durable. However, I was hoping that the "heavy duty" also implied that it would have a smooth snappy tactile response when switching, with a stiff spring that forced it into each setting with no accidental in-betweens. Unfortunately, while the switch is stiff and the indents are direct with no play, it has a gritty feel when moving and will not snap into the next setting if partially moved, like a proper tactile switch should. It can be bumped into the in-betweens with quite a bit of travel needed before it snaps to 1 or 2 or 3. This may seem like a trivial thing to complain about, but even basic cheaper switches have a much better tactile response. The basic factory 3-way selector on my cheaper Jackson JS24 has a better feel and snappier action. It feels durable and is heavy and otherwise well made. It just doesn't feel like a nice switch should, which could be rectified if it just snapped itself into place with minimal travel.

Somehow, my ears are hearing a richer, higher fidelity sound after installing these. May just be my imagination. The switch feels STRONG. Very, "assured". "Falls" right into place with each switch. Sounds somehow improved to me, I swear!! And CHEAP! Definitely getting again.

I bought this to replace another three-way switch that failed on me during a pickup swap. Since it was going to be dropped in a thin-bodied Schecter C-6 Pro, I need a switch that was, itself, short. Based on previous reviews I tried this switch and I’m glad I did. Made in Korea, it’s very solid and it switches positions very positively. This will last a very long time, and no issues with fitment at all.

I wasn't sure what to expect for the price, but I knew the switch on my Harley Benton [TE62DB] felt cheap and flimsy. This was a like for like swap but is far superior build quality. Heavier, more robust, and encased internals, It feels like it'll last for years. The switching action is very positive and sure. Are there better? Maybe? But for under £10 this is an easy upgrade for any instrument that lives in the budget category that you won't be rushing to upgrade again in a years time ~ I didn't care for any of the little top hats that came with it, but that is hardly worth mentioning and certainly not worth losing a star or sleep over.

Bought this 3 way to replace a cheap 5 way in one of my Ibanezs', as I wanted a simple HH setup. I was initially skeptical about the quality of the switch, but it seemed well made from the pics and reviews were good.Getting the switch, it's actually even better then I initially thought from the pics listed. It is very sturdy, and the metal shell of the switch covers the whole moving assembly, something you don't see in cheaper import switchs.Simple wiring and easy to solder to, tip fits well.Completing wiring and testing, the action of the switch is solid w/o being difficult to move. It has a nice satisfying tactile 'click' when going between positions. The switch itself is silent when used, and seemed to sound as one would expect.Korean made, it's a better quality than a typical cheap import switch you might find from China, and well worth the $ involved. These are now my go-to when changing import switches! Keep up the good work!

Se ve de buena calidad, lo acabo de instalar y funciona perfectamente. Los top hat se ven muy bien y de buen material. Creo que es una excelente opción de reemplazo sin embargo aún queda por comprobar su durabilidad.

Replaced a switch that was double the price from a well known brand, which developed crackling and no cleaning or adjustments would help. Kaish switch has smooth action, no in-between issues and soldering/installation was straightforward. We'll see how long it lasts, but so far so good.
