Perfect fit for 2024 Squier Tele. Decent weight. Had a small burr on the outer exposed ring. A quick sanding removed it. Lots of youtube videos on removing the old and installing the new. If you are buying this so that you can use a right angle jack, follow these additional steps. 1) Remove the retaining nut and he old cup. 2) Remove the control plate and pull back the jack assembly free of the retaining clip/plate. 3) Punch out the retaining plate and discard. 4) Seat the new cup and screw in the cup, making sure that the screw heads do not protrude outside of the countersink holes. 5) Unscrew and remove the cup. 6) Remove the 2nd nut on the jack to expose as many threads as possible and pull the jack through the hole, screw the cup on to the jack shaft as far as possible. 7) Screw the cup in using the same 2 holes made in step #4. Use a thin shaft electronics screwdriver to help to clear the protruding jack.A right angle jack should now clear the cup and be fully seated.

Great upgrade, used one of these before possibly a different company but it worked great so had no problems getting this one.Squier paranormal cabronita telecaster metric thread had this new part fitted in five minutes a weighty little piece of kit.No more jack sockets coming loose now I’m sure.

I wasn't sure if my guitar (made in 2009 in Indonesia) would use the American thread or the metric thread. I boldly took a risk and ordered the metric version. It was a perfect fit. I only bought the plate, not the replacement jack.

I purchased the KAISH Chrome Metric Threading Electric Guitar Jack 6.35mm Electrosocket Jack Plate for Tele/Telecaster Guitar (Import Style). When I read reviews about guitar parts/upgrades I always hope to find information about what the item will fit. So this product does fit a 2010 Squier Telecaster Classic Vibe ‘50s that was made in China. The electrosocket is very good quality. I highly recommend it.

The threading isn't correctly machined. When I saw that this jack didn't properly screw onto at least three jacks I had, I noticed that after a turn, it skipped. This told me that the threading wasn't true screw threads, but probably just a series of concentric circles. I tested this by running a needle along the screw threads, expecting my needle to visibly progress downward. It didn't. It was literally just a ring. Unfortunately, I tested this long after the return window, so into the trash it went.

Nice part. The chrome finish is very nice, even and smooth. It feels very durable. This is a solid and substantial hunk of metal. Its threaded for a 1/4" phono jack so there is no need for a locking nut for the jack itself. It fits a 7/8" diameter hole perfectly and comes with the screws.
