Electric lock seems really good and the size is great but the metal used to make this is very thin. This is more of a gun locker than a gun safe. It will keep your weapons away from children which is good

Honestly, I wasn't expecting this safe to be of such great quality for this price. I was expecting this to be more like one of those Harbor Freight type safes. We have a safe, double this size already that we purchased from Cabela's, years ago. We needed something smaller and more accessible that would fit in our closet, that we could lock on the weekends when the kids were here. This is BEYOND perfect for what we needed. The inside is plush with removable, adjustable shelves. You can even add more shelves if needed. You can even adjust the angle of the racks to fit the caliber and size of your weapons properly and efficiently. There are 6 rifle racks, large enough to be stored with attached scopes, and plenty of room for several handguns. On the door itself, there are 2 hard mesh slings that are large enough to cradle 2 large caliber firearms and storage on the bottom for ammo, clips, magazines or documents. There are 3-20mm bolts which keep this safe securely locked. You have the option of silencing the lock, choosing your pin, and being able to just unlock it with the included key. This unit does come with anchor bolts and 4x anchor holes inside the safe itself to be able to secure it to a wall for extra security. Comes with 2 keys. Keypad also lights up. Instructions are thorough and easy to understand. Comes with everything you need.Cons: Safe is fairly light at just over 70#. In order for this to be effective against theft, you would really need to secure it to a wall with included anchor bolts. Comes with actual common keys, not skeleton keys like higher end safes. Due to this, MAY be easier to pick the lock. Having said that, keyhole is covered and not exposed to outsider. No light on inside of safe. If keypad dies, you're pretty much SOL unless you know where your keys are, so DON'T store them in the safe! (people actually do this)Overall, this is a great purchase for the price. I did read on another review that someone thought this could be pried open with a crowbar. NOT happening with the size and depth of these 3-20mm bolts holding door in place. This would surely fit in any closet or small space. Finish is outstanding and safe seems built to last. Great for first safe purchase or second safe for bedroom. Would be a great Housewarming, Christmas, Fathers Day or Birthday gift. Keeping this on my "Gift Ideas" list for future reference.

Excellent midsize safe. There’s no assembly to speak of but you do have to set up the touchpad unless you just want to use the keys. Good interior space, no sharp or unfinished edges. Mounting points are there to attach to a wall which I still need to do but otherwise excellent value

If you want a nice looking cabinet to just keep the kiddies out, this will suffice. Just know this, the hinged side of this cabinet is Extremely vulnerable to anyone with just a claw hammer or large screwdriver to get into this cabinet in short time. This offers NO real protection to any teenager who wants to open it with just like I said....a large screwdriver, or claw hammer.. IMO, spend a little more $ and get a more secure item.
