Lock is not sized for standard pre-cut door hole metal doors. I tried adding spacers but the locking mechanism was falling out of its nest. Residents could not get into the apartment complex gate. Also, the knob requires a stronger person to turn it once the lock is opened. Older residents had difficult time turning the knob and opening the door.
