Our dog is just over a year now and we have gone through many dog beds. They couldn't survive the chewing and aggressive digging our dog subjected them to. We received the K9 Ballistics bed a week ago and our dog gave it his best abusive treatment. The bed remains intact with no tears or even the slightest pull in the fabric. This bed is, truly, tough yet comfortable, our boy loves it.

Amazon was terrible! I tried to cancel the order at least a half dozen times and they wouldn't acknowledge. It is a tremendous hassle to return items from rural Montana. The bed is as advertised.

Was in search of a dog bed that my schnoodle would not tear up in a month. This is it! No more holes , rips, or tears.

Very well made tough fabric hidden zippers with super strong velcro hiding them this pup won't ruin this one like he did others and he looks comfy. Love the velvet cover.

He digs and chews the corner but the ben is still here! I bought it feb 21, 2024 and it is still here in jan 2025! Longer than any bed I have gotten this beast. The corners are a bit chewed and there are claw marks. That's it! I can replace the cover and I don't even had to yet. I Love this thing! A major plus is that with how heavy he is, he doesn't have calluses building up on his elbows. This is an awesome bed (I got the largest size).

Once our pup was past the accident prone stage we knew she needed a bed upgrade. Trainer conceded these were expensive but said we'd likely never buy another. I used some rewards points towards it and decided since I wasn't actually spending $ on it to soften the cost I was going to get it. The 1st time we had to put the bed up to wash the cover we saw how beloved it already was. Before my husband had even walked away from dropping the bed with newly washed & replaced cover on the floor Lily flopped right down onto it with a huge sigh of relief! She tries digging into it to bury her bones, insists on dragging it to better locations in the house and sheds like crazy all over it - this bed's a KEEPER!

Edit: I've called so many times now and one person just hung up on me. Horrible company all around for how they run you around... I would NEVER recommend to anyone due to that alone. I won't hold my breath waiting for a new coverI really had high hopes for this bed. It is a actual dog bed and not some thin worthless padding but it only lasted 48hrs before Jemma took an entire corner out of it. I refuse to pay that much for an aluminum frame with an inch of padding for the 'chew proof' version as it is not a dog bed but dog padding. I've purchased a rip stop bed from Walmart that lasted much much longer at a fraction of the cost. I guess I'll just use the 200.00 bed for one of my other dogs and keep buying her the inexpensive ones where she at least has some padding that is more than an inch thick or just use blankets like I did previously. I also had to call two different times to be able to even file for the warranty as it would not let me directly do it online so I'm waiting to see how the warranty goes. After 6 call and several emails, they have finally shipped the replacement cover that I could NOT order online but at least someone there ordered via phone. Same person then spelled my name wrong after I spelled it for her and she was looking at the original purchase online so she had no reason to misspell it other than being a jerk. Still waiting on the phone call that I was supposed to receive a week ago... Before buying from this company, check out reviews posted other places and not from their website including BBB reviews. NEVER AGAIN

We got Andy, a 19 week old fawn pug, and soon learned that he's a zipper whiz. I took a 40 minute walk one morning and came home to find him romping in the innards of his cozy doughnut bed. He and his black pug "sister," Ruby were chewing on the stuffing made out of heaven knows what. They were in separate play pens and he managed to "share" his fluffy stuffing. No matter what the stuffing is made of, I know for sure it's not meant to be eaten by pets.Andy looks for zippers to open on his beds,or he chews a little hole in the bed and then extracts the filling through the hole. So I searched for a chew resistant bed and found this one. I left two questions for other Amazon buyers and they were very kindly answered. I wanted to know if the bed was soft for the dog to lie on, and if the covering was noisy when the dog stepped on it.The bed is soft. One person described the covering as similar to heavy canvas and that is a good comparison. It's slick, not porous like canvas would be. It does make some noise when stepped on, it's not like a bed with a soft plush cover, but we wouldn't be looking for this type of bed if those beds worked for our dogs. Both of our pugs lie on it. It's a good bed for outside on the deck playpen on nice days.I'm in awe that any dog can get this Velcro open because my wife can barely do that. The bed came with the inside separate from the covering. We're in our sixties and I couldn't get the cover open to get it on the bed, so she struggled successfully and got the cover on. I had no idea Velcro could be so tough! We haven't washed the bed because we can't get the outer cover off again, so we rinse it with the hose. The bed looks bright and clean, so we're not that motivated to fight with the Velcro again. Our Andy isn't a big time chewer, but he's still teething. He appears to enjoy the challenge of looking for a way to get to the stuffing in beds. He got under this bed when we first gave it to him, and worked on the Velcro, but he couldn't get it open. This bed is excellent quality and I feel confident that he won't be able to damage it. Andy's breeder asked me what kind of bed I'd gotten so I sent her the link to this item after Andy gave it a fair test run.
