This is not the Kohler seat I purchased! It’s some generic garbage, bad quality. Flimsy, color is wrong, not comfortable. It’s going back.Do better, Amazon.

This is not my first time changing the toilet seat, it's of much better quality than the one I bought before.This was super easy to install. As a matter of fact, I had a harder time removing the old toilet seat than I did installing this one. I also like the bolting system used as it would be nearly impossible to overtighten the bolts. Get a little overzealous in tightening the bolts and you could crack the toilet bowl. This system uses rubber anchors that are not likely to cause any damage. I also insist on the slow descend toilet seats now. Just push the seat and or lid a little way and they descend the rest of the way very slowly without making any noise.

One of the caps was broken, which I can handle, though it’s not good. I just needed functionality for the weekend with a friend with disabilities. The fit seemed right because I followed directions. The hardware of the old one doesn’t fit the mounting holes of the new one (small oblong). Both are plastic so it’s iffy to force it, and zero directions were supplied. It was the same brand seat as toilet, so I thought it would be safe with measuring.

My last toilet seat was fairly heavy and if it slipped or even was let go an inch or two from the toilet it almost sounded like a door being slammed!No more! This seat will slowly lower even if you are closing the lid and seat at the same time. It has a contoured seat which is much more comfortable than the flat seat I previously had and the opening is a tad larger which keeps things from pinching.Fyi I'm 6ft 260lbsEasy to installEasy to cleanFelt flimsy at first, but once installed its extremely sturdy!Porcelain white color that matches perfectlyPads on bottom keep it from sliding and slippingAverage removal, just unscrewGreat upgrade from my previous!
