This is the first svhs video I bought to transfer important tapes. The video is not working properly. I am getting audio but no video. I decided not to bother and must bought another in November. But that one was worse. The cassette door would not even open. I then got annoyed and wrote this review. Help

Actually received an HRS4800 (less remote). Works like a charm. Use to transfer vhs to dvd. Great editing machine!

The VCR is easy to install as well as easy to work with. I have not purchased a JVC product before but I am impressed with this model so far.

For the price you can't beat it's S-vhs quality on a standard vhs tape. You can hook it to your cable, and get the S-video output, better picture than composite out on most cable boxes.
