I'm a gun collector, target shooter and hunter. As a result I generate a lot of oily rags while cleaning my guns. I wanted something for my gun room that would eliminate or at least reduce the chance of spontaneous combustion, leading to a house fire. The bucket is perfect for this purpose.

If you clean up your yard and do not want your dog's waste stinking the entire can until trash pickup, you must get this and line it with a Glad bad, preferably with fragrance!

Fantastic container. I didn’t check but I’ll bet it’s MIL-SPEC because it’s a dead ringer for the ones we had in the Navy. I took off a star because I think it’s a bit overpriced but then again if it’s MIL-SPEC, there’s your explanation.....Anyway if you’re looking for a great receptacle and don’t mind paying a couple extra bucks this is a great one.

I spent way too much time researching a solution that was waterproof and a good sizeBut glad I did, this is well worth the price. I have the Can outdoors uncovered so it gets wet. I use as a pet waste trash can for dog poop. I’m happy with quality of The Metal container, foot control, and general size. I use with 5 gallon trash liners.
