Josh's Frogs Clean Up Crew Cuisine (2.75 oz)
Josh's Frogs CUC Cuisine is the best way to keep microfauna populations booming in your bioactive enclosure! CUC Cuisine contains many trace minerals that are lacking in traditional vivaria substrates in an easy to apply pellet form.
How to Use:
To use CUC Cuisine as a feeding station, simply place a pellet on the surface of your substrate. CUC Cuisine will absorb water and mold a bit, attracting springtails and isopods. This makes it easy to observe your frogs feeding.
CUC Cuisine can also be buried under the substrate where it will serve as a nutrient rich food source to keep microfauna numbers high and your bioactive setup clean.
Clean Up Crew Cuisine should be offered as often as it takes your tank janitors to eat them. We recommend feeding CUC Cuisine at least monthly, but up to weekly feedings can be provided to keep your microfauna levels as their max.

My clean up crews love this stuff. You just have to make sure you only put as much in as they can keep up with.Also, Josh's Frogs has excellent customer support. They have always readily responded to my questions. I highly recommend!

Feeding clean up crew in a bio active vivarium. Mosten CUC really well. Lay on top of substrate or bury it. Springtails will find it and feast. Do not sure choleinated water in a bio active vivarium.

Though I use this as a supplement for established tanks, it's necessary for new tanks as the springtails and other micro clean up crew members may not have enough food to establish a functioning colony in the vivarium. This gives them the boost they need to get established and working for you prior to introducing the frogs or what ever critter you are housing.

Idk... seemed like a great product, but I haven't noticed any of my isopods on it... have more luck spotting them on zucchini.

I like to be able to toss in a pellet and have my bio bugs fed well. Within minutes bugs are drawn to it. Handy to have.
