I feel like these have helped my turtles shells. They last about 10 to 12 days in my tank before completely dissolving.

The "pack of 5" was actually 4 thrown in a bag.It stated 5 for the quoted price and only 4 arrived.

Je les ai acheté pour mes escargots et ceux-ci les adorent, ça a aidé à réparer leur coquille car ils manquaient de calcium.

Works great! These are definitely a better value on Amazon, way more expensive in the store!

I have 2 baby turtles i bought these to condition my well water for them. It seems to do what it’s supposed to just fine, my turtles are growing like weeds and they seem happy and healthy. The calcium block lasts a few weeks or so but your tank will use more when you first start it to condition the water initially.

I got these to raise hardness in a 5.5gl for a mystery snail. In one week, the GH went from 7° to 23° so I removed it (KH was unchanged). It stressed my fish and raised GH way past my target. Probably good for turtles but would not recommend for snails.(fwiw I received five blocks)

I have 6 snails (1 black racer nerite and 5 black mystery snails). They were developing white lines along their shells. It was recommended to use a slow-release calcium block for the tank to help put the mineral back into their shells to keep them healthy. It was definitely worked well! The lines have finally vanished and they seem to be growing larger now. They are easy to use, just open it and plop it in there... It is safe for other freshwater fish in the tank. (I have a 20 gal. tank with a Dragon Scale Betta Fish, 6 green cory catfish, and 5 Zebra-Striped Tetra)... I originally had 6 tetras.... but the tiniest one did not make it... I am not sure exactly what happened... It could have been that it was born differently and just did not make it or he pissed off Wonton(my betta fish) for the last time and he head-butted him into the glass and the catfish and snails (being the scavengers that they are) ate as much of his tiny body... Only discovered the carcass and no more tiny tetra (we named him Kratos since small fishies deserve badass names...
