My wife says:“I’ve literally been using Jomi compression tights for years.I wait tables for a living, and am on my feet for six to eight hour shifts, four to five days a week.A few years ago, I noticed spider veins starting on my hips, and some thankfully subtle varicose veins on my shins. I was not happy with this. Theorizing that my job was contributing to my veins, I did some research and found out compression socks or tights might help. I tried several brands before finding these. They were all either uncomfortable, or not supportive enough. These thigh high tights are not easy to put on. And they shouldn’t be. They need to squeeze your legs to keep the circulation going. If you roll them up and go slow, they go on.They stay up all day. They do leave little round marks from the elastic at the top that holds them up. But those go away within 20 minutes of taking them off.I’m 5’2” and weigh 115lbs. Size small is perfect. They are textured, which I love. It’s like getting a massage for your legs all day.And most important to me, they’ve prevented new spider and varicose veins from forming, and improved the old ones. They also help make my legs less achy by the end of a shift.Weirdly, they’re kind of cute. My husband sort of thinks they’re sexy, because they are thigh highs. If you wore these with a skirt, they would just read as tights, not support hose. I always order the black thigh high ones with toes, but I’m sure the full hose and toeless ones are good, too. They are a bit expensive, but a properly cared for pair lasts me 3-6 months. I have yet to find anything better.”

I have been wearing these for a few months. At first, I was mad at myself for not paying attention and getting the pair with the silicone dots, but let me tell you, boy am I glad I did. They help so much in helping the thigh highs stay up all day. They are not uncomfortable either.; I have to wear thigh highs because my venous insufficiency issue originates in my thighs. So, I have tried a few. These are by far the best I have tried. They have lasted and lasted through both my hand and machine washes. They are snug, but not too snug and I see the difference between when I do and so not wear them. They dont have any snags in them despite regular wear. I am definitely going to purchase these again and hop they do not make any changes to them.

I have DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) condition in my left leg caused by an accident many years ago. For several months after the accident I was wearing thigh-high high-compression, stockings. Then I switched to knee-high, 15-20 mm, socks. Recently, my doctor suggested I go back to thigh high stockings. So I purchased size small, Jomi's stockings. These stockings are good quality, comfortable to wear and, fairly easy to put on. They fit very well at my ankle and the knee but they are way too short. They are supposed to be 20-30 mm and that's what it says on the box. However, they feel to me about the same as 15-20 mm socks I am wearing a lot. Beware of that if you are looking for high pressure compression garments.Jomi's specs, regarding stockings length, are very cryptic. The only place where is the length mentioned at all is on the box where it says: "Pantyhose and Thigh High length is 30" and above..."I measured the stocking actual length to be only 20". So when I put the stocking on, it's just about 5" inches above my knee. And I am not a tall man at all. I am 5'4". To see how the stocking hold up I went for a steady walk. The stocking is slowly creeping down and after about 3500 steps or so, slip down below the knee. The silicon beads at the top of the stocking are comfortable and doing their job but there is just not enough compression pressure to keep the stocking in place. These stockings are, at best, marginally helpful to wear in periods of physical inactivity or low activity. They would have been much more useful if their length would be what the manufacturer says it is.Update Nov 12, 2019I changed my mind since my original, quite unfavorable, review in February 2019. At least partially, it was manufacturer/seller fault as it was nagging me for a review so I wrote what I felt at the time. I used to wear thigh high stockings many years ago but not recently. For many years I was wearing knee high socks only. So these didn't feel right when I first put them on. With time I actually found the stockings very useful. I have ordered 2 more pairs since and now have a set of six pairs as I wear Jomi on my left leg and a cheap plain black sock on the right leg.

I purchased these socks because I have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and as co-morbidity of it I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia). I have to wear compression socks to prevent the blood in my body from pooling in my feet and causing dizziness and fainting. These socks work wonderful and stay up! The compression is not weak and is definitely as advertised, unlike some stockings you buy online. The dots at the top keep the socks in place and I never have to adjust throughout the day. And as an added perk, the higher socks do much better than knee high compression socks (and also look trendy if you're young and chronically ill like me).Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing more soon.

No directions, no data of any kind. Sock is very long , have to pull up to private parts and then fold down; don't if this is the right way or if there is a right way. Once again for 30 bucks, no directions About 15 minutes into the wearing, is the pinch; don't know if the pinch comes with folding it down or what? Not so comfortable and very difficult to put on; once again there may be a preferred way to put the sock on, if only had directions. The sock does work, reduced swelling. I am convinced these socks are for dancers, long hard graceful legs. Not for short fat folks with a knee replacement who struggles to put the sock on over painful leg. I am convinced a retired dancer designed these socks, good for them. If u have long swollen graceful legs, these may be for u. For me, I have to search for thigh highs designed by a short/fat person.
