My foster dog LOVES these and has destroyed the horse version. I was hoping the dog specific Jolly Ball would hold up better, but she has destroyed the handle already. The ball part is still good for fetch though!

Dogs love these. They are very robust and do not change shape even after multiple teeth punctures. the dogs like the small end for ease of carrying and it also creates an unpredictable path when thrown and rolling.

I bought one of these a few months back and my dog loved it. It lasted for quite a while. I bought him a new one and noticed it seemed to be out of different material or different build quality. I didnt think much of it until he ripped apart the new one within a week. So i ordered the same original one i did of the light blue. Thinking it must just be a difference on the colors.I was wrong, this new one i just got is the same build quality as the one that lasted a week.Please go back to the build quality you originally had. A dog toy needs to be sturdy and tough and to last for 6 months to a year at least in my mind.If you are not able to maintain the same buold quality as the original then i would suggest a new design. You need to replace the pre-formed handle with an integrated rope pull that is is secured within the ball with the rope knotted and perhaps some sort of metal stopper inside the ball.The weak failure point on this ball is the handle where it connects to the ball. You need to change the material on how the handle connects in order for it to be more durable.I cannot recommend this ball any longer, no will i buy another until the build quality improves and the design is revisited to solve the problems i mentioned.

I have a very active 60 pound "mutt" with high energy. He loves this ball! It probably isn't 100% chew proof, nothing is with a heavy chewer, but my dog is more interested in racing around the yard with it than chewing on it. He loves to fetch it, play "chase" with it, push it around in his kiddy pool, and even throw it to himself. He only plays with it under my supervision (which really should be the case with all dogs and their toys) so I think it is going to last a long time. For my dog it has to be an outdoor toy only and is stored outdoors when the dog comes inside, otherwise I could see him throwing it around the house and possibly breaking things. He really flings it sometimes! And it is quite heavy and more on the solid side, not squishy. If it were to hit a precious knick-knack, or a lamp, those things would smash to the floor! The "handle" makes it super easy for the dog to pick it up. It didn't take long for him to figure out that was the way to carry it. He tried biting it at first, but now he just rolls it with his paw until the handle is in a better position for him to grab it, and off he goes.

Order Rec'd Nov3Writing on Jan13We have two blue heelers who know the Amazon driver's vehicle by sound, at a range of approximately 2 city blocks, based on the amount of toys they go through.The JollyPets Tug n Toss is the *perfect* toy for these maniacs. We have had this toy for 71 days, and each velocidingo uses it every time they are outside. The Beast in the photo is 43#'s and the JollyBall is large enough to wear him out a bit while he whips it around and chomps it up, but manageable enough to carry around, play fetch, and otherwise caress lovingly by chomping the actual s-word out of it.The JollyBall's Chomp feature is the main feature of this dingoriffic toy.The cheap, large size tennis balls are great to Pop N Chomp, but just like a dog: once they get wet, they smell like the garbage can at your local dog park. The JollyBall is fantastic to chomp. It seems designed for it, and after it was punctured for the 32,826th* time--it may be started to lose it's "ball" shape a little bit. *This is a scientific estimateA Note To Humans: This ball is heavier than it looks, and your arm will fall off and/or require minor restorative surgery if you play fetch with even the Dingo setting on "low". Kicking it seems to be better.5 stars overall, the "Chew-Proof" 4 stars is only because a small tear has developed--but this isn't an indictment on the quality or "chew-proofiness" of this product. I don't know how you'd do it without the material being too thick/hard--which is exactly the opposite of Chomptastic.TLDR: If your dog destroys $h^t on the regular, but loves chomping, whipping, grabbing, tossing, and fetching a heavy toy: They will love this--and you will hate throwing it
