Johnson's self-leveling 5-dot laser offers the accuracy and convenience your next project requires. It simultaneously projects 5 self-leveling beams, making it a versatile tool for your jobsite, and it can be rotated 360° when attached to the included multi-functional base that mounts to metal surfaces. Accuracy is never a problem thanks to the design - just spin the laser on its base to quickly validate calibration - no special equipment needed. The laser also features a locking mechanism that protects the inner pendulum during transportation. With the included multi-functional magnetic laser mount, mounting strap, magnetic target, tinted glasses, and soft-sided carrying case, this laser comes equipped with everything you need to get your job up and running.

Five bright red self-leveling beams (forward, left, right, plumb-up and plumb-down) provide highly-focused laser points or "dots" with 1/4" accuracy at 100 feet. Internal locking mechanism (magnetic dampening system) protects inner pendulum during transport. Unrestricted 360-degree rotation. Audible alarm when beyond the 4-1/2 degree self-leveling range. A multi-functional, magnetic mount quickly attaches to secure the unit to steel studs, pipe, conduit or other metal surfaces. A mounting strap is included for extra security and attachment to non-metal surfaces. Mount accepts both 5/8"-11 and 1/4"-20 (fits most camera tripods) thread attachments. I've had this exact laser for I believe about 15 years. It used to be good and reasonably priced. The reason I had to replace it twice was usually somebody dropping something on it on site [always a subcontractor]. My last purchase less than 2 years ago, the price doubled and it has since lost it's accuracy. I'm the only person that uses it and it has not been mishandled. Get another product.FYI: The mistakes made by this tool were hard to fix. Thankfully, years in the field have given me a good eye for plumb. Caught it before the sheetrock was started

I'm thoroughly impressed with this Laser Level. Super sturdy, easy to use, and performs exceptionally well for all my leveling needs. Right out of the box, I was able to get started because it included a battery pack with batteries.In terms of performance, this laser level is definitely a top-tier, premium product. The laser brightness is really good, it feels durable and is super accurate. I also really that it came with a compact, protective case which is super durable as well.Overall, I couldn't ask for more from a laser level. It’s a must-have for anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality tool. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love this laser level! I'm a steel worker and use it quite often. The magnets are very powerful and come in handy when setting elevations and leveling columns and beams. I also use the laser to figure out stair risers and anything else under the sun...literally. Very accurate and self-leveling. I would recommend this to anybody in any field of work.I also wanted to note that I owned this exact same laser for the last 14 years and it still works today. I just ended up giving it to a co-worker because after using it, he became very spoiled with it and did not want to settle for anything less. This is the only reason I even had to buy a new one.

Used this level for various projects. Vertical laser makes transferring marks on the floor to ceiling very easy. No trial and error with a plumb bob. X-Y plane lasers great for layout work. Case is really safe for transporting the instrument.

I bought this laser last year. I didn't use it much at all until this summer when I made a gravel pad. I did all the earth work assuming the device was within spec, but when it came down to confirming its' accuracy, I found that it is off by a quarter inch at 25 feet. I went to my pond and measured it off the water to confirm that it's aiming high. so, in the end, I have an error of 3/4" across my gravel pad,which isn't so bad, but I was hoping to get the 1/8" that was advertised. other than that, the laser is very usable in broad daylight.edit; I took a look at the user manual, duh, and saw that the laser is adjustable, so I've raised my review one star. it seems to zero to within tolerances.

I've owned this laser for about a year. The picture makes this level look like a children's toy but it is anything but. I use this level for laying out piping runs and it has not let me down yet. It is much more accurate than I am. The bottom piece is a magnetic holder with magnets on bottom and the back which are very strong and has a 5/8" thread for a tripod. It comes with a strap which goes through slots for mounting on pipe, etc, which works well though I would suggest getting a better strap than the one it comes with. The actual level is held on the mount by a 1/4-20 so that both thread sizes are available. What has been priceless to me is that the level spins on the mount like a turret--great for layout.I would definitely recommend this unit to a friend
