I like both the size variety & the sturdiness of these needles. I use them for wool applique because the eyes are large enough for 12 wt. thread to fit thru. They're strong so I don't think that I'll be bending them like I do with hand applique needles. The sharp point makes it easy to stitch thru several layers of wool compared to chenille needles. This case is great as you don't have to fumble opening the paperboard cases & it's easy to see how many are left.
