I work with various metals and very small pieces. I usually count them by hand which can sometimes add hours to my work on any given week. I decided to give this a shot for the weight sensitivity and the piece-counting function. Wow, works like a charm. I tested it with multiple items of various weights as low as 0.04g per piece. It was spot on every time. The counting function is based off of the weight of 10 pieces, and there is no option to base it off of, say, 20 or 100, so if your pieces are very small and/or light, you may need to break out some simple math to do multiples of 10. But that being said, 0.04g is the weight of the lightest item I currently work with and the scale count was perfectly accurate, so I'm happy and this is going to save me a lot of time!Regarding the power source, the plug says that it is UL-listed and something is indeed listed with that code for power supplies, but I don't know how to research it further for legitimacy. Anyway, there is a high-pitched sound emitted when plugged in (from the plug/power adapter unit itself, not the machine), so I will be keeping it unplugged when not in use to ensure safety.
