The biggest problem is the amount of play in everything; any slight movement can change the way it focuses. The moveable plate is not very study so care must be taken while focusing. Image quality is fine, included lenses work well, and it was easy to assemble.

Works great images are amazing but the base where you place your slides is flimsy like really flimsy. Not a deal breaker but I will be looking at making it stiffer

I bought this during prime week for cheap, to try as my work from home microscope. Saving me trips to the lab, this has paid for itself already.Ok, there are some cons. This has some good glass, one click photos, it's getting the job done. However, the lights get really hot, LED could have went a long way here. The plastic body construction is super lightweight and will probably shatter if dropped, this lack of weight also makes it unsteady. But it's usable and takes clear photos.

I was sceptical when the item arrived. The box made it look like a kid's play microscope. Got it hooked up and it works great. The screen is small but it can be hooked up to a computer monitor or tv.

Having the screen to view magnified items is great. Allows all my kids to see things at the same time. The configuration is great, with the table that can be adjusted up and down to accommodate different sized items and not just sides.

I use this for minerals as well as microbiology. The image is clear and the best part is that I can take pictures of it all. I got this in addition to my compound microscope and it has helped me save all of my findings. I mainly use it for peripheral blood smears. This product is fantastic! I would definitely recommend it. One thing I wish could improve would be the stability of the stage. It’s a little jiggly but other than that it’s perfect

My niece absolutely loves this microscope. She got it for Christmas last year and I waited to review until I saw how it help up and it still works great and she still uses all the time exploring bugs and plants. Highly recommend!

I don't know where they get the 4000x. Measured with scope calibration slide to 800x. It is very shaky. Takes 15 seconds to settle which makes it incredibly hard to focus. All in all, it does magnify.
