Well made, easy to install and easy to check. I like the quality materials used in this product. It was easy to install so you don’t have to be a professor mechanic to do so. You might have to file a corner on the mounting tab on a Taurus SHO to prevent contact with the fender. Overall it looks good and is easy to clean. The price is a little high but you do get what you pay for.

I wouldn't look elsewhere when I need a catch can. Complete plug-n-play, no modifications needed.

Put about 500 miles on this thing and the metal screens inside are eating away from heat. Very low grade material used. Keeps the oil out of your intake but most likely puts small pieces of metal in it instead. Waste of money. I threw it in the trash.

Like most of the other reviews, I bought the product for what it claims to do. I've taken my inlet pipe off while changing spark plugs and it had a good amount of oil in it. The product is well built and was easy to install. I have high expectations for it and I don't think I'll be disappointed.

After running catch cans for a few months ~15,000 miles, It is apparent to me that catch cans are a must on TDI engines. Install of this can was straight forward. The catch can does catch a considerable amount, I try to check it every couple fuel ups (~1000 miles) and need to empty it a couple time between oil changes (depending on the weather). Now on to the negatives. There isn't much room to install this can, so it installs on the fender next to the coolant overflow bottle. This is a tight space and makes removing the bottom of the can to empty it difficult. In addition, most of the time the bottom is so difficult to remove, you have to unmount the can, and use a pair of channel locks to unthread the can. This last time I had to remove the can with a pair of chain vice grips as the channel locks just slipped. Once apart, I found the honeycomb like filter and screen laying in the bottom of the can. Also the O-ring has swelled up and no longer fits (probably the reason the can was so hard to remove). I don't know what the O-ring is made of but it was a poor choice for the application. Disappointing on a $150 can. I also installed a $25 catch can on the clean side of the PCV system (I also recommend a clean side catch can as it catches just as much if not more junk) and I don't have any issues with it.

Dont listen to any of the non car guys who gave this thing any rating other than a 5 star. Amazing plug and play 2 minute installation with amazing long term benefits. All you non car guys get your ass back to the candy store.

after 3000 miles there was a couple of teaspoons of oil in the JLT oil separator. reduces oil sitting on the intake valve and carbon forming. I love this product.
