UPDATE: Although I was happy with this eyecup in use, the problem that I had in the very beginning never went away - the eyecup did! This item kept detaching, as I noted in my original review (below). I finally DID end up losing it, so now have no eye cup on my camera. Will have to find a better replacement!________________________ORIGINAL REVIEW (if you want to take your chances):Fits perfectly on my Nikon Z6 II, very easy to install after removing the OEM eye cup. You can rotate the cup after install for use with either left eye or right. The shape fits my face very well, keeping excess light from entering while looking through the viewfinder, thus making the picture even clearer on this excellent camera. The larger offset also keeps the camera further away from my face, so bonus: no more nose prints on the back monitor screen! The only down side of this product was that the eye cup detached from the frame the first time I took it out into the field. I was very disappointed that I had lost my brand-new eye cup. Happily, it turned up later on the seat of my car, so catastrophe averted.Overall, I would give this eye cup a positive recommendation, just make sure you fully seat the rubber cup into the frame before use!

Looks like a decent quality eyecup replacement. Fits decently on my Z6 IIA few things to mention:With this mounted, you have to tilt the LCD screen on an angle while flipping it out, otherwise it will rub into the bottom of the cup. Not a huge thing for me personally as I usually don't use the screen, just a mentionAlso it's surprisingly shallow, I feel my eyelash making more contact with the viewfinder with this compared to the original oneIt also has a very slight mark on the side, probably due to injection molding. Thought it was a minor scuff at first, no biggieIt's not very stiff. Feels rather flexible, overall okayI'll be using it for a few weeks and then decide whether to keep using it or switch back to the old oneOverall okay. Just a few minor things that might be more important to others than myself

I've purchased this eye cup as well as the Hoodman version for the same camera. The Hoodmen cup is much larger taking up more space but is also more comfortable. This cup is very easy to remove. In fact, too easy. The cup came off multiple times at an event I was working. I fond it on the street the first time and on the expo floor the second time but could not find it the last time it came off. Slips on and off with little effort. It would benefit if it had a tether should it fall so it wouldn't be lost.

I bought this based on the recommendation of Hudson Henry and am very pleased. It works better than OEM Nikon eye cup. I've used it in several situations and it performs marvelously. It blocks more of the ambient light so focusing is easier to see what is in focus when using focus peaking. I found it very much to be an improvement when doing snowflake photos as well as landscapes and even birds in flight.

I purchased this eye cup for use on my Nikon Z6ii. I prefer photographing through the viewfinder and it is somewhat difficult for me to quick review shots for clarity and sharpness on the back screen without reading glasses. Additionally I do a fair amount of darkened room photography keeping my back screen off so as not to disturb people around me. These eye cups were a perfect solution for me. With the camera's diopter set to my vision requirements, these allow me frame and take photos as well as review them in-camera with ease.I have added a second Z6ii camera to my family an have purchased two more eye cups, with one for use as a spare. They help me that much. The only reason I wanted a spare is because I had removed my first one for cleaning and misplaced it before reattaching. There was not any kind of mechanical or fit issues. For the price you really can't go wrong.

It installed easy after removing factory ring. Helps a ton in dealing light. Unfortunately it partially covers the view. Rubber material could be little softer. I recommend this addition to all advanced photographers.

This eye cup came highly recommended for the Nikon Z cameras. I agree and love mine! Helps when you are in bright sunshine as it blocks all external light when you put your eye up to the cup! Good for eye glass people but I still take my glasses off and put my eye in the cup for better sighting.
