I don't make it a point to touch the rubber eyepiece on my cameras with my finger but when I accidentally do, the rubber surrounds move to the point you think the rubber is about to derail from the plastic frame - but it doesn't.The OEM pieces don't exhibit this lively behavior so YMMV.

I had list my eye cup on my D5500 while on a shoot, these work perfect as a replacement.

I bought it as a replacement for the original Viewfinder Eyepiece of my Nikon D5600. It actually looks more robust and solid than the original one and fits perfectly. The material is of good quality and the metal frame inside keeps it on place.
