Two of the four handles broke off yesterday. I purchased it in October 2022, so it's lasted almost two years. It seemed to work ok before it broke.

As always, read the reviews prior to purchasing. I did so I know that nearly every low rating is because people just popped the clamps while there was still a vacuum. Do not do this, your plastic clamps will break but that will all be on you. The valve very easily releases the vacuum if you just use it.Edit to add 9/17/24: 2 of the handles have fallen off but the box still holds its seal. Adding a small amount of oil to the port helps to hold the vacuum if your box is not filled to the top,

I loved this idea and purchased it for my husband for Christmas. Used it 2 times. The first time we used it, the tabs on one handle broke. Second time it was used, another handle broke. Now it's just trash. Not happy that I paid $30+ for something that i have to throw away because its poorly manufactured and useless. The small tabs that hold the handle breaks. The 2x that we used it, it was hand washed, so it wasn't damaged by the dishwasher, just cheaply made.

The size of this container is great for a variety of meats. I use it for steaks, chicken, and pork chops. Easy to pump the air out. I would like to see the handle on the pump secured better to the little piston, but overall it works fine. The vacuum seal does help to marinate the meat prior to cooking.

Worked great the first 2-3 times used, then the vacuum seal would not hold, had to check on it every few hours to reapply the suction pump. Less than a dozen uses later two of the lid handles broke off. Great concept but extremely poor execution. I wish it wasn't created with brittle hard plastic and they instead used a more flexible material like a Lock & Lock container.

This is the second one I've owned. The first one I had lasted about 5 years. The snap down tabs started breaking off. I use it 2 to 3 days a week in the summer. Definitely feel i got my money's worth. This one seems to be made exactly the same. I've marinated things for over 24 hrs with no vacuum loss. It's a great size and is super easy to clean.

Great product, but there were some complaints about air leakage through the rubber piece on the lid. So, catch a lifehack that eliminates this problem: after closing container and sucking the air you could clearly hear air sipping in the container through that rubber valve. If so, pour some cooking oil( any oil you have on your kitchen) to the little dip on the lid where you hear air leakage. Oil is thicker than air do it seals all around the rubber valve. Im servicing an air equipment at work and using oil all the times as sealant👍
