This saw vibrates a lot and it can only cut thin pieces. Description says 4” but it’s more like 3” and when you cut 3” the saw struggles and my blade came off the wheel. In my opinion definitely not a good product. But then again, my jet dust collector vibrates a lot too.

A half HP motor is not enough. The saw stall easily. Cuts well, tracks well, but you must go slowly.

It easily cut 4" blocks of redwood. Minimum vibration, powerful and accurate. Doesn't need a lot of floor space! Perfect addition to your shop!

Should have gotten a bigger one - too small, but that is my fault.

About a year ago, I sold all my wood shop equipment due to a serious illness that looked like it would end my woodworking hobby. But, I have recovered enough that I’m getting bored just sitting around. So I decided to go small and began replacing my large commercial-grade equipment with smaller stuff. Hence, I bought the Jet HWB-10 bandsaw. After about three weeks using it, I have to say I like it better than my old Powermatic 14” saw. It’s no powehouse but cuts clean and pretty quick thru a chunk of 4” thick walnut. I’m glad I bought it.
