I was looking for a higher quality cassette player that would use USB power to use in my car…this is exactly what I was looking for..! and nice quality…!

I had a Sony Walkman tape player in the 90s. That one was excellent. It had a built in radio. A bass boost button. And auto reverse. I keep hoping I’ll find it in one of my storage boxes, but no such luck yet. In the meantime, I purchased this tape player to listen to my tapes. The two things it has that my Sony didn’t is a built-in speaker and Bluetooth. It’s a decent tape player. The built-in speaker sounds ok. It’s nice if I don’t want to use headphones. The Bluetooth works (only with tapes, not radio, but that’s not unusual) and connects to my Samsung galaxy earbuds. Except I can’t control volume. And it’s spotty. I wish Sony still made personal/portable tape players. Without that choice, this one serves its purpose. I like the matte rubbery coating.

My husband and I each have our unique collections of cassettes. Let's see... what decade was that? Anyway. went on a serious hunt for a simple to use cassette/radio with BLUETOOTH that would bridge us over to a nice BOSE speaker. This shirt pocket product was just the ticket! Doesn't take up much space. No cables to wrestle with. Just a straight up transfer of some favorite music to a nice small scale Bose stereo speaker we keep in the kitchen for easy listening! Hunt successful. Gotta find the dust cloth and let the party begin...

I purchased two of these units. The first one had this odd characteristic, where if there was a pause in the music or speaking on the tape, the bluetooth would drop out, and then come back on when the music or speaking resumed. The result is you miss the first few notes of the music, or a couple of words in the speech.The second one had the same problem, and the speed was inconsistent, as noted by some other reviewers.The best portable cassette player I had was a Sony Walkman FX290W. Unfortunately they are not longer sold, didn't have the bluetooth capability, and their price on eBay is quite high for a good one.

With older cassette personal stereos going for 100 pounds plus, Aiwa, Panasonic and Sony etc.. this Jensen is a good alternative, it plays cassettes well and seems very well made 👍 a few of my older Sony cassette players have given up the ghost recently and I am pleased with this Jensen personal cassette player.

This is an awful device, worse than a toy. All aspects do not work properly. It plays back at varying speeds, sometimes a bit too fast others a bit too slow. The microphone sounds like garbage too. The "speed" of FF & RR is slower than a sick turtle.

The motor in this does not play at a regulated speed. So if you're trying to record onto a blank the motor will turn at different rates based on how much tape is left on one side of the tape so it heavily distorts the sound quality. Also having a good power supply is very important.I used an aux cord with my laptop to record an album onto a blank Maxwell UR90 which I know is not high quality media but I'm confident that this player can not produce a good recording that does not have pitch distortion, and you have to use a very low volume level because the line in jack actually intended for a microphone and you will easily max out the volume when recording.But a prerecorded tape actually sounds great on this player and the Bluetooth works easier than I expected. It seems well built, however the record button would not stay down initially, after a few minutes of pressing it I got it to work.

Me gusta que es pequeño, el tipo de material es como de goma, se siente bien al tacto, no pesa, funciona correctamente. Pero debería incluir baterias recargables y el adaptador para utilizarlo con luz directa.

The 1st one played cassette's really slow or fast. It was never consistent, running off batteries or plugged into ac power, it would not play right, so i returned it and got a replacement, the new one works great
