I used these to make a custom DIY knife sharpener.One link end was attached to a vertical threaded rod, which adjusts my bevel angle for my sharpening stonesThe other link end was threaded into a second rod, which has a holder for switching out my stones.This setup allows me to keep and hold my desired knife angle, but still allows me to pivot for sharpening.

Good product. Comes with everything you need, less the allthread. Only complaint is the ball and socket is pretty sloppy side to side but doesn’t seem to have slop in the direction of throttle pull. Time will tell if it wears excessively
