I bouggt these to replace the missing one on my Ovation and they fit perfect. The ABS plastic is well molded and feels strong enough to stand up to the rigors of gigging. Good quality for the price.

Doesn't fit any of my guitars due to it having a strange angle that isn't noticable in the listing photos. All this thing did was damage my Ibanez beyond repair. Now I have to replace the entire battery box. It slid into place...click. But it was sitting crooked. I then realized the issue. But when I tried to remove it, the entire battery box came with it. They got my money, they broke my guitar.

I don't think it's badly made, it's just not the right part for my dad's guitar. The plastic bolster where the locking latch meets the body of the battery box is just too large for the slot that it's supposed to fit into. If you tried to force it, you'd lock the battery box in there and never get it out.

The battery box ‘lid’ is angled, I suspect for the application at the top of the guitar in a horizontal feature. I still have to find one in the same dimensions that will fit the base end that includes the power jack hole. This is for a Dean Bass guitar and the Amazon searchbkeeps bringing me back to this one. Not a great experience.
