My interior tailgate button was working fine, but the graphics had worn off.This is an easy replacement to get your interior tailgate button looking like new.

Very common with these cars that the button covers wear off over time. My trunk release was ugly and the installation was fast and easy. Just a small screwdriver to pry out the switch. Gently pull the wire out a little so it doesn't slip inside the sill. Carefully release the clips on the switch to access the cover. Make sure to put the contact and inner sleave back in the new cover and installation is the reverse. Looks and works like new!
