Bought in mid December of last year. It doesn't work at all now. Barely lasted two months.Customer service reached out to me. I wasn't aware that it has a 12 month warranty. They gave a full refund.

FAST AND SHARPThis little machine is amazing. Puts a perfect point on in a second. (remember those old grinders that took all day?). as a woodworker, I go through a lot of pencils and need them perfectly pointed. This does the job and then some!

First off, this is a great pencil sharpener! It does its job perfectly: sharpens pencils. They get VERY sharp. My students love it, and as other reviewers have noted, some even come to my room between classes to use my sharpener. The small design flaw is that the blade part that actually sharpens the pencils frequently falls out when you dump the shavings. I had to fish it out of the trash many times. When I came back from Christmas break last week, I discovered that the well-meaning student who had dumped the shavings last, before the break, hadn’t noticed that the sharpening piece had fallen out and would now live forever in the landfill. It speaks for how great this sharpener is, though, that I re-ordered the exact same one, this time with a label (see picture), as the dumping job will no longer be delegated. It would be nice if the part were attached more securely, but it’s still a great sharpener.

I have a decent $60 behemoth pencil sharpener for my classroom. There was no way that this $16 dinky device could do better....or so I thought. It's perfect. Small footprint on a desk but is a workhorse able to perfectly point even the most stubborn pencils. Easy for everyone (even my 2yo) to use and does it perfectly EVERY time.

Mom of 3 who has been sharpening pencils for all 3 of their classes for 2 years with this machine. The pencils always end up sharp without eating them down. Fast, powerful, and shuts off when the pencil is done. Love the outlet because we don’t need batteries. Small size allows for easy storage. Easy to empty shavings and the plastic is sturdy (I knock it against the bin to empty).Still happy with this machine after sharpening literally hundreds of pencils!

This is a great sharpener, works really well and does not fill up too quickly. Love that you can plug it in when at home or put batteries in for easy moving around. Nice and small so it does not take up too much room on the desk. Easy to clean and empty. Not too much noise.

Neatly place at the corner of my home office table....I love this cute, compact electric pencil sharpener. My older one had side entry hole, I find this one with top entry hole quite convenient. Wish it had more pencil size options. Know exactly when to clean, as the shaving-bin is transparent, n cleaning is v easy. Good to have multiple power options. Does sharpen v quick n stops when done. Will have to see how long it stay sharp n good. Over all good value for the money!

It worked fine for the first few months, sharpened quickly, no malfunction. I used it to sharpen my daughters' color pencils. It broke down though, when I loaded back the grinder after plugging it out to remove a stuck tip. It stopped working and no longer respond to any pressure. Luckily I have a spare but I was surprised how easily it broke considering that it had been working so well. I guess it's not meant to be disassembled by a laymen.

Disappointed with this sharpener, it chews up pencils without sharpening them. Even the graphite pencils take a beating although they do end up sharpened.
