Good quality, we are using it to store rice. Its been 3 years now. Works so well. nothing to complain. It has a small wheel which makes it pulling forward easy. Well taught and designed. Has a little tray inside for the left over last cup of rice, while refilling it with new bag of rice.

I have several of these to store my rice. I love these. I bought yet another big bag of rice and needed another bin. Easy decision. My only nitpick is that it seems this one is a little bit thinner plastic. It appears to have changed since the last one I bought a couple of years ago. Not bad, but not quite as sturdy-feeling. I hope that the manufacturer isn't going with the trend of cutting quality and keeping the price up. I get that costs go up, but I'd rather pay a little more for a quality product. I.e. raise the price a little; don't cut the quality. Not a showstopper right now, but not quite what they used to be. One star off for that, but still a good quality product overall.

As someone who eats rice almost on a daily basis, I had always wanted a rice storage bin that I could place on my counter and access easily. Since I buy my rice in 15lb. bags I was pleasantly surprised that it fit a whole bag. I was wary of this product after reading some of the reviews saying that it didn't hold 15lbs, but went with it anyway. As for the complaints that it is not airtight, well I have to agree that it could have a better seal. But that is not a big problem, actually, not a problem at all.

商品自体は大きさも丁度いいし使いやすいです。ただ、届く日が分からず送料が気に掛かり、1度キャンセルの手続きをしました。しかし全くリアクションがなく、お届け予定日より3日くらい早く届きました。

For some reason, rice agrees with me more than bread or potatoes, so I eat rice with my meals--or as a meal with fish or chicken. So I go through a fair amount. I buy it in bags from the Asian grocery. My DOG likes to break into the pantry and create havoc with the rice bag. I have no idea why she does this, but I decided that after the second disaster and also a MOUSE a few years ago, I'd put the rice in a container. It also makes it easier to see what's left and to scoop it out using the rice measure. This box is very nice smooth plastic, food quality and it takes the size rice bag I usually buy--the 5 kilogram bag. I can dump the entire bag into the bin and then scoop it out for meals. There is a top drawer for "old rice." You don't mix the end of a bag in with the new bag--because your new bag might be "new crop rice." New rice has more moisture and takes less water to cook up, so you would not want to mix an old bag in because the rice would cook at different rates.A very nice quality rice measure comes with the bin--with markings on it and it's a more transparent plastic than the typical rice measure you get with your rice cooker. The lid snaps down for secure storage.Although this has a snap lid, I am not sure I'd use this bin for brown rice. The problem with brown rice is that the unpolished rice has more oils in it, and it tends to go rancid. I freeze my brown rice and buy it in small quantities because of the rancidity issue. Cold and dark keep things from going rancid as quickly, but nothing ultimately stops the process from happening.

Not sure why there are all of the reviews about rinsing rice in a strainer, though. There is NO STRAINER that comes with this product. This is just so other shoppers are aware. There is also no mention of a strainer included in any of the product details. The product itself seems to be very good. The wheels on the bottom are a nice addition. I wish the length was a little shorter so this would fit in one of my upper cabinets, but this is not a deal breaker for me. The hanging container is a nice extra as well.

Just what I was looking for. Big enough to hold large amounts of rice yet small enough to keep on the counter for easy access. measuring cup and extra container a plus. If you use rice in a lot of your cooking you will definitely need this container, it keeps moisture and bugs out of your rice, and has two small wheels on it so you can pull it out easier. I love it

If you cook rice regularly with an electric rice cooker, this is a great piece to store your favorite rice. While you can fit more than 11lbs in the container, you will lose the functionality of the sliding drawer on the inside. This little drawer is great for keeping a portion of rice measured and ready to prepare. The measuring cup included is not a typical 8oz, but rather a 6.1 oz rice cooker cup, which is a standard size on many popular rice cookers.

Item was received ahead of scheduled delivery date. It is a nice container and works very well for its intended purpose, to store rice. We use it for bottom cabinet storage and the wheels aid in ease of movement when full. The rounded measuring scoop that is provided is flat/beveled on one side which allows it to scrape the bottom of the container to collect the last few grains of rice (clever). The rear latches snap on tightly and the front lid is handy for easy access. Nice design, no complaints.
