Bought this for my husband's walking boot so he doesn't track dirt into the house or dirty the sheets at night.Before buying these, we slipped a plastic bag over the boot, but that was slippery and unsafe. Nothing worse than having to wear this boot because you fell and fractured your ankle, then falling again b/c you slipped because you put a plastic bag over your walking boot.I'm not sure if walking boots come in sizes, but my husband wears a 12.5 size normal shoe so I'm sure he's got an XL boot on.These covers are super tight to put on. On the one hand, that's good b/c once it's on, it doesn't shift or slip around at all. On the other hand, I broke a nail trying to put it on the first time. I managed to almost get it on, then he had to reach down himself to pull the back up fully.The little nubbies on the bottom are non-slip and safe. Tho the listing says they're reusable and washable, I'm not sure how well they'll survive a washing. We're keeping the one that he puts on to wear around the house separate from the one that he puts on to wear in bed at night and so far we haven't thrown any in the wash.Even if they don't wash up very well, the pack of 10 should ensure we don't run short during the estimated 4-6 weeks that he'll be wearing the boot.

Bought this to cover a medical boot to keep from tracking in dirt from outside. The medical boot is sized to accommodate a man's size 11 foot. Bought the largest size offered which was x-large. But it is way too small. We're going to have to cut the front elastic string to be able to make it function. This could fit a traditional snow boot but it was supposed to work for the big clunky medical boots. Very disappointed.

these could be an inch or 2 longer - hard to get over bandaged feet and sandals - seam weld could be stronger also

We used this when my daughter was in a walking boot (size small). They were a little big on her but we bought the smallest size available knowing that it was going to be a little big. Even so, it fit pretty good. These covers kept sawdust and shavings out of her boot when in the barn. Product did it's job and was as advertised. We hand washed and reused. Some did get worn out after walking lots over gravel or rough surfaces but durability was better than expected.

Despite the pictures showing the items covering a moon boot, they don’t.May be ok for standard boots and shoes but not moon / cam boots.Returned to Amazon

I have two different brands of CAM boots that I use (one is MaxTrax and one is Sweedo) and the cover fits nicely on both (See picture). I don't have to struggle to get it on and it is nice and snug. However, I would think that it would be quite tight on a large or XL boot. It is slip resistant and water resistant as well. Great to keep my CAM boot dry when it is raining or snowing. Doesn't wear through right away either. These really are a must have if you need to use a walking boot!

I ordered these 2 times. The first time most of them fit over my boot. The 2nd time, only a few fit over my boot. They didn't hold up very good either but needed something to keep my boot clean when walking outside.

The fabric is pretty thick but these did not fit over my size large walking boot- not even close. I was in a pickle though due to not being able to get my foot wet due to surgery and the foot of snow outside, so I put the cover on my foot then put the boot over that, and it kept my foot dry. It wasn't super comfortable wearing it that way but I won't hold that against the product, as it *is* intended to go over the boot. While the boot got wet it still did the job I needed it to do.

These work great, and hold up outside for walking. However they do run small - so size up.

These appear to be very well made and appear to be quite sturdy. However, the sizing description is completely inaccurate and these are way too small to fit over an air cast boot. We measured the boot and went with their recommended sizing and I highly doubt even the larger size would have fir over the medium boot I have.

I purchased these for a friend who broke her ankle and was going to sew herself covers for her medical boot. She probably could have done a great job, too, but I figured these would be faster, easier, and waterproof. She loves them and says they work great. She says they actually have better traction than the medical boot itself (which has rugged tread on the bottom). She's happy to not have to clean the boot every time she comes indoors. The pack holds a lot, and should make it through her entire 6 week or more recovery. Update: Feedback from my friend "Only one downside to the boot covers: snow or a mix of snow and leaves tends to stick to the bottom and ball up. It can make walking awkward and also makes the bottoms slipperier. The good news is it scrapes right off, but this is something I've never had happen with any other footwear. And yes, ongoing evidence suggests they really are pretty waterproof. I am finding them very very handy."
