Ordered two of the valves to install side by side in my system. When I received them, both valves had the same part number but one was built backwards from the other. Due to that, the handles had to move in opposite directions to have both valves open at the same time. This resulted in the handles hitting preventing me from having both valves open at the same time. I called Jandy to inquire but unfortunately, they weren't much help. One of the valves had apparently been assembled incorrectly. I returned the valves and ordered different ones.

Just what I needed! Found it more economical to just order the entire valve rather than ordering the parts I needed! Now my valves work great!

The handle on my 30 year old valve had broken off. I did not want to replace the whole valve since this would require a lot more work plus replacing 2 other valves, so I just replaced the inner "guts" (everything that comes out when the 8 screws are removed). The fit and air sealing was perfect. If any parts on your valve need replacement, buying the whole valve is an option to consider since the individual parts are way overpriced. (Try pricing the screw that holds the handle in place or the grease nut.)

Its what I wanted. Make sure you know what your doing. Requires you to be somewhat skilled in plumbing. Cutting out the old valves and getting these to fit in the same spot requires some planning before you glue everything...Take note of the 'IN' side of the valve I almost missed it. And could have installed it backwards Good Luck
