Your cart is empty.Hayward equalizer valve is designed to use for Skim Master and Auto Skim series pool skimmers. If water level drops below skimmer opening, or if skimmer flow is obstructed, the float will automatically snap shut and the equalizer valve will open. This diverts all flow to the pump from the equalizer line and prevents airlock in the pump. When the pump is shut off and the water level condition is corrected, the float will rise and the equalizer valve will close, allowing normal skimming operation when the pump is restarted.

Hey skimmer users. Our pool was setup with a skimmer that draws water from the pools sidewall when the skimmer can't get it from the waterline. Problem? NO-ONE installed the valve or the float bypass that goes with it. So, we ordered both.The first valve we ordered from this competent vendor was destroyed by USPS. It was packed well, but was crushed in transit. I wrote to the vendor who did his thing with USPS and sent me a replacement straight away. the second valve arrived in great shape and in similar packaging ( Sturdy and cushioned). USPS did not crush this one ( and I rarely have any shipping issues and think that USPS is a good transport company overall).IN conclusion - the vendor - seller did a great job from start to finish. The part, BTW, is SO important - the skimmer/pool vac/main all now work correctly.THANK you!MikeLas Vegas
