To assist in bubble free clarity, warming up both the resin and hardener by the boiler overnight also reduces the viscosity making it easier to pour and mix,. The clear plastic bottles allows the marking of the current current resin/hardener level from which can be subtracted for the following mix. Since the compound is combined by equal volumes, the markings made on the outside of the bottles provides adequate precision to produce a good quality compound.

I just started doing resin work and I love this product. Its easy to use, stirs nicely and is low on bubbles.

This epoxy mixed easily and had a good covering, non-yellowing, very crystal-clear finish. I use a lot of epoxies in the summer on my live edge tables, and this is as good as anything I've used.

This product was an experience to say the least. If you are using this to make something to sell then DONT BUY IT! It would never cure correctly. I thought I poured too thick at first so I tried again but everything always was inconsistent.I measured in two cups then poured together to make sure to have 1:1 ratio, I use a leveling board, and I warmed it in water prior to usage, as suggested, to reduce bubbles (well that was the only part worked).I had it where it just turned into goop, where it would act like it was going to harden but just remained sticky, and also one time after 12 HOURS- it was still liquid! I have bought CHEAP resin off temu before that worked better than this!EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED :( as well as so much time and money wasted.I'm really upset that one piece was a memorial heart for someones father who passed away I had started and after waiting a day and for it to even start to cure- nothing- I finally poured the liquid off and I am just beyond upset. The thickness of the pour was maybe 2 mm thick, and I mixed correctly, so there was no reason for it to do what it had.I posted pictures of a fidget spinner I was making which did harden to touch but when I started to sand it...it was not. It came off in clumps and was sticky AGAIN.Other notes - it has a STRONG odor and gets VERY hot!So definitely would not recommend to anyone!!!

Value for money but still a quality item. Good drying time. Easy to use. Not too much of an odour

I was nervous when I ordered this since a lot of reviews said it set too fast and over heated. For the price, I took the chance. Wow! I am impressed.First the kit comes with a lot of great extras.Work table covers that can be peeled and used over and over.GlovesSpreader for taking off that extra off the top so you don't need to trim the project after demolding.Mixing cupsLots of Mica colors.I started off with a thin mold of a Dream Catcher. I wanted to make one colorful and one more subdued to see what would sell better.I laid out my small cups and had the colors next to them (remember I thought this was going to set very fast).Next I mixed 200ml (100 + 100) of resin. I used a power mixer to me sure it was well mixed. I usually mix through one full song on the radio. That is my timer. :)Then, I quickly poured the resin into all the small cups, leaving about 50 ml in the large cup for now.I mixed al the colors before pouring to blend as I needed.I poured the main color of each feather down the leading edge and immediately poured the secondary color on the other side. I took a contrasting color and poured at the top by the ring and used the supplied spatula to create a rib in the feather. I would have done a slower better job had I known it really does have a very long working time.I mixed more colors from my larger cup and purposely felt to see if it was over heating....it was barely warm. This was about 5 minutes in.After getting everything poured and topped off I spilled a small portion to allow me to check it to see how it was gelling. After about 40 minutes I saw a bubble that my heat gun missed. It was still liquid enough to spread it and break the bubble. The next day, I took the pieces out of the mold. They were easy to remove but still bendable. I set them on a flat table to finish curing. The following day I Poured a second, more muted dream catcher and this time knew what to expect. At the same time I poured three of the Washington DC monument molds that I had made with a mold maker kit. I have molded these for my kids and grandkids but this resin captured much more detail than others I have used.On another note. I have poured a black and a white at the same time to mimic marble before but most modern resins react and it ends up just mostly gray. This resin stayed a bit more separate giving it the look I wanted. If fact, now that I am aware of that I can get an even better marble look by mixing it a tiny bit more. The biggest precaution they give is to not go thicker than 1/2". Ok. I can use the other resins for my thick pours but this cost a lot less for my thinner pours.I will be ordering more.I do recommend this resin and hope you find the review helful.

First time I ever used epoxy. This experience resulted in great achievements and some disasters. Mixed 1 oz of a and b for five minutes. Stuff was sort of creamy after mixing. I painted it on 8 wood bottle stoppers, a wood tray and some scraps of wood using a sponge brushI put the coated pieces under an inverted styrofoam picnic container with a 60 w. bulb to provide heat. All pieces were rock hard after about 4 hours. Here are the result and observations. 4 caps looked great. 4 caps were a mess with large globs of epoxy on or running off. The platter was a disaster! Globs of high and low waves of epoxy. The coaster sample chips ranged from horrible to great. What I learned: use thin coats. Thick coats harden in blobs if they don’t run off. I had a beautiful piece of epoxy left in the bottom of the mixing cup- guess it would be great for a mold butnot as a coating.Read a lot of other stuff about working with 2 part epoxy - fascinating stuff and looking forward to trying to do other projects with it.WARNIIG : Do trial pieces first !!! Almost impossible to correct mistakes. If you spent a day or week making something and the epoxy fails you have wasted a lot of time and effort .Seems simple stuff to work with but it’s not.I tried mixing the epoxy and hardener with a few drops of alcohol .thinned the mix and I applied a few thin coats to bottle stoppers with sanding between and they look great.Go very easy with dye as only a few drops in 8 oz totally obscured the wood. Might as well be plastic or concrete.
