When tapping IPA’s the tap handle gets stuck. Fine with domestic beers. I assume sugar builds up with IPA’s. Have to clean it to release. Not sure why.

No complaints. Easy assembly. Careful with the squeeze hose clamps. I squeezed too hard and snapped one. Simple fix. Took a bit to get the CO2 balanced, but with a settled keg and a little patience, and a few pints, we found the sweet spot. Installed in the garage (fluctuating heat/humidity) so we had a little coolant leakage in the beginning, but no issues since. Beer is cold on demand, so it’s exactly what we wanted.

The product I received has a temperature control issue. After putting a 1/4 keg into the product, it froze on the #3 setting on the dial (which is the middle setting on the dial). So we defrosted the keg and kegerator and lowered the temperature to the lowest setting (# 1), but it happened again! We contacted customer support via email, but their response was ridiculous. They told us to put the kegerator on the coldest setting, then SHUT IT OFF and put the keg in and shut the door to keep it cold. And they said we should keep doing that every time we want to use it!!! Are they serious? Keg beer is unpasteurized beer. It needs to be maintained cold (anywhere between 38 - 55 degrees) at all times, so bacteria doesnt grow and spoil the beer. Their response is basically telling us to form a petri dish inside our keg! Isn't the purpose of a kegerator to have tap beer come out cold anytime we want it? Now I have a 1/4 keg that I cant use because it has gone from warm to cold three time already! Now I have to I write back, letting them know their response is unacceptable, and I will give them a short education on beer and the importance of temperature control and the purpose of a kegerator, which is ridiculous! Currently I am not at all satisfied with the product and cannot find an email address of anyone higher up in the company to try to resolve the issue. The only thing I could find was an attorney's name, which pops up a lot when doing research on Ivation (that is actually C& A Marketing, Inc in the State of NJ. Also it seems to fall under C&A IP Holdings, LLC.). I also could not find anything regarding their selling Kegerators other than Ads for the product! Ivation doesnt even mention kegerators as one of their products, only a wine cooler and other products unrelated! UPDATE: After emailing each other back and forth several times, The company was nice enough to give us a full refund.

For years, we've bottled. And when I started this hobby in the late 90s, I bottled.Bottling has some advantages, especially in sharing. For each advantage there is a lot of work. From cleaning to capping to carbonating to labeling. Each has varied amounts of labor and concern, especially in cleaning and carbonating.I invested in this keg after moving and I'm looking forward to putting my first keg of beer in the cabinet. I've had a Corneilous kegging ("Corny Keg") system for sometime, but no way to cool them, save a tub of ice, so I've used it twice in about five years.OverallPleased. The unit is "easy-on-the-eyes" and extremely quiet.DeliveryIt was delivered in "mint-condition" just after Christmas. The box was without a dent or tear.UnpackingSome reviews talk about the packing and I agree. However, having previously ordered and returned a Kegerator from another vendor here on Amazon (and the impetus for this order) the packing was nearly identical, but there is room for some initial feedback: the walls of the box provide little protection from impacts that could damage the unit. The interior of the unit has a steel floor screwed to the bottom of the cabinet, ostensibly to protect and lessen wear on the floor with use. It is nominally secured with four screws, however, one (1) was missing and another was loosely fixed to the rear. This appears to be an issue with the steel floor piece and the alignment of the screw holes. The rear wall is the coolant wall and it is slightly askew, but this is cosmetic and does not seem to impact function.AssemblingThis cost a star in my detailed review (4/5). The instructions are fairly easy to follow, but there are some odd missteps and at least one loose piece without obvious function. In the former, the instructions clearly ask to attach and clip the orange hose to the CO2 tank's barbed hose outlet. However, these instructions are clearly out of order. Doing so, and following the instructions to attach the keg hoses to the barbed T fitting, PREVENTS one from snaking the hose through the rear of the cabinet. However, removing the CO2's barbed fitting is not the solution. The fitting, of course, can be removed, however it is clearly secured with a liquid thread sealant. I removed the fitting and fitted it, without the clamp, to the hose to snake through. However, this expanded the hose just enough to still prevent it from going through the cabinet. Mind you, I initially followed the instructions to the letter. I ended up reattaching the barbed hose fitting to the tank (using a teflon thread tape) and attached the CO2 host to the tank LAST.In the latter, an included flat, black plastic "washer" comes with no instructions on its use. It has a protective film that can be removed, leaving it very glossy. It seemed to fit perfectly in the cutout for the tower's rubber washer, suggesting it was a template of some kind. In fact that's how I used it: positioning tower's washer over the beer lines cutout in the top of the cabinet. My cabinet came with four locking casters, so the instruction on positioning two (2) locking casters was initially confusing. There is a single rubber washer of indeterminate purpose. It was loose in the box.

Between instructions and mfg videos on website, fairly minor assembly was easy! The kegerator works great with cold draft beer a 'pull' away. Great feature too with the unit on wheels, and able to easily convert (shelving included!) into a refrigerator.

Every thing arrived in perfect order, of coarse some assembly was required but that was expected. The only thing I would change is the last part of the assembly instructions, it is not clear where to hook the two hoses as the fittings are the same and its easy to get them crossed up.

So far this kegerator works great. Shipping was fast and it got here about three days before it was supposed to. It took me and my girlfriend less than an hour to assemble using the instructions and it comes with EVERYTHING you will need: all hardware, all lines, two couplers, everything! (sans the kegs and the CO2 in the tank). It looks great and seems to be working fine through the first few days; looking forward to having brews on tap year round!
