This is an excellent filter system. I've had others over the years but this one is the best. Pure water! I mean tasteless. So refreshing. If you can taste water then the filter is not good. This system is great! I highly recommend it. Easy to install, with in 15 to 20 mins. Max. Follow directions carefully! Happy camper!

I ordered this countertop water filter model after reading a few articles. I chose this one because of the 5-step filtration system, the cost and the overall look. I received it very quickly and it was well packaged, preventing damage to the product. It was a smidge bigger than I expected, even after looking at the measurements, but I am not dissatisfied. I looked up their video for how it install it and it was very easy. Once I ran the filter for a few minutes, I did the water glass test. I could not believe that it improved my tap water as much as it did. I never noticed my plain tap water had a smell and taste. The filtered water comes out smelling like nothing and it has a "smoother" mouthfeel. I made tea and it tasted even better than usual. I am very happy with this product after just a couple hours of use!My only concern was whether or not the unit was BPA-free since it is made of mostly plastic. I looked everywhere including their website and could not find the answer. On their website, there was a messaging number so I texted my question. They responded within 10 minutes! I expected a response maybe by the end of the day. Nope! Right away they responded that they checked with their product team and confirmed that it is BPA-free. I can now confidently recommend this product to everyone for 3 reasons:1) you will have much better tasting water for drinking and tea/coffee from a BPA-free unit,2) The product is super easy to install and the cost is very reasonable (I got it on sale for $35),3) Customer service is just a text message away and very responsive.

A good low cost countertop filtration system that provides good tasting tap water. The system is relatively easy to assemble, but the directions need work. For one, make the print larger so a magnifying glass is not required to read the instructions. Secondly, provide accurate information for the installation of the filter. I read two different filter installation procedures, the one provided with the system and another from the company's website and both were different. The Installation Manual procedure instructs you to "*PLACE THE FILTER WITH THE BLACK CARBON SIDE POINTING DOWN. However, there is no black carbon side. The Users Manual procedures instruct you to "PLACE THE GAC FILTER WITH THE ARROW POINTING UP" and there is no arrow on the filter. I also purchased a replacement filter and I didn't see a black carbon side or arrows on that filter. Since that filter can only be installed one of two ways, my personal opinion is that it doesn't matter how it is installed.

Nice to finally find a product with a reasonably priced replacement filter. Some of these systems, you end up paying as much for the filter as you did for the entire kit, if you can even find a replacement in Canada. Water tastes and looks clean, no trouble at all. Installation was simple. One tip is to use a small zip-tie to keep the hose from flailing around when the faucet is moved if you have double sinks. Used about 6 months so far. The dispensing spout is usefully adjustable to all kinds of angles.Update: Four months after the last filter change, it developed some mold and mildew above the filter, whole thing went in the garbage unfortunately.
