I use these with my stand mount speakers and can’t say enough goods things about them. Well worth the money.

Although a bit pricey, it meets my expectation well. Very satisfied.

What to know: The claims are legitimate. I experienced a significant improvement in clarity and soundstage. The story: IsoAcoustic feet were recommended to me by a dealer I bought some speakers from. He was earnest in his recommendation so I started looking into them. I chose the center channel first as it sits on a cabinet and had the highest chance to create resonance. I was so impressed with the results, I bought Aperta Sub and Gaia feet to my towers. I would never have imagined it would improve the overall sound quality so much. Worth every penny.

As per the photo, I recently got a pair of Q Acoustics M20 desktop / bookshelf speakers to use with my PC. The speakers have rubber feet and were simply sitting on top of my desk which is a heavy lump of solid hardwood. They're absolutely superb speakers but the default rubber feet do a fairly poor job of decoupling the speakers from the desk so I was suffering from all sorts of nasty resonances and a fairly flat, narrow sound stage. So, I decided to get a pair of these speaker isolators to see if they would help.I must admit that when I read the marketing bumf I was quite skeptical of whether the Apreta stands would actually offer any noticeable improvement. Boy was I wrong! The bass from the M20s is significantly more tight and punchy which in itself was great but for me the (very genuine) "Wow!" moment was the improvement in the sound stage - significantly wider, with much better instrument imaging and placement. I never expected a set of isolating speaker stands to make THIS much difference, but they do.The build quality of the Aperta stands is excellent - well cast & machined aluminium with what appears to be a very nice mat black powder coating. The rubber that forms the feet of the stands appears to be well made and will probably be suitably durable. Setup was very easy using the included instructions and no tools were necessary. The only reason I give the Apertas 4 starts instead of 5 is that for what you get they're undeniably fairly expensive. Are they worth it? Value is subjective, so only you can answer that for yourself. What I would say is that they're genuinely amazingly effective at what they set out to achieve. For me the improvements, especially in the soundstage, are definitely worth it. Expensive but highly recommended.

The difference is marked with greater clarity and the soundstage is larger. Now have the sound quality and vibrancy I expected from my set up.

So I get that not everyone is willing to shell out a couple-hundred clams for speaker stands. I debated on it for a month until I gathered enough information to satisfy the low bar of "well... if they don't work well, I guess I can return them".Needless to say I'm extremely happy with biting the bullet and ordering a pair!It one of those things you don't think would make such a difference but my goodness they certainly do...Pros:-Greatly reduced vibration on my desk-Cleaner/clearer sound as they prevent the sound waves bouncing off my desk on the way to my ears-Allows me to aim the tweeters where they need to be pointing-Build quality guarantees that I will own these a life-time and never need to replace them.Cons:-The price almost covers a regular car payment...Thoughts:If you're not a rich person, like most of us, this kind of thing is a luxury item. Is it necessary? -Absolutely not... Is it gift to your ears? 100%It doesn't magically make your speaker better, the quality of your speakers don't magically change. What DOES happen is your speakers are able to transmit the sound to your ears much better without the muddying of the sound that occurs from the resonance of the surface it's attached to and the sound waves bouncing off the surface on it's way to you. It's such a minor things when you think about it but it makes a huge impact. This isn't some marketing crap where they sell you gold plated HDMI 6ft HDMI cables and telling you it improves signal quality. (note: gold connectors can help maintain the quality of analog signals and do nothing for digital signals)Instead, what these stands do is allow the speakers to perform as well as they can, aside from suspending them from the ceiling by wire as done in some professional applications. If you own a decent pair of bookshelf speakers and want them to shine their best, these stands will achieve that. If you want to save that money and make your car payment it will certainly be the wiser decision, but you'll definitely be missing out ;)4-Stars for the 'Value' because I'm being realistic. It's a great product that performs well but at this price, at the very least you'd think the aluminum would be anodized rather than painted or a taller set of legs would've been included to allow for varying applications as they do with their cheaper but similar products.

Aperta! Aptly named, but more on that later. I own a pair of Bowers & Wilkins speakers for my home theater system for about 10 years now. They are well-regarded and not inexpensive speakers but in truth, I’ve always been a little disappointed with them. Until now. Aperta is Italian for open. That is exactly what these stands did. Lifting the speakers up that three inches off the surface and isolating them has created a more open, free-flowing and clearer sound. I wish I had done this ages ago! They look good in a home environment too. They are a little pricey. You might possibly get the same results from $7 yoga blocks... but while that look might be okay in a college dorm you likely will eventually appreciate and want to aspire to something that looks as well as sounds good. These do. I ended up buying several including the Aperta 300 for the center channel speaker. I appreciated having black or silver to choose from, although in my case the silver worked a little better. One negative, for which I took off 1 star; occasionally a unit will not lie perfectly flat. Yes, I’m talking wobble. I checked them on a different surfaces including a granite counter top and it was “No bueno.” I did a return/replacement and am now happy but you will want to check yours on arrival. At this price point QC should be better.

We recently updated our living room entertainment set-up and we added a large cabinet to house our AV gear and an "upgrade" to a pair of DefTech D9's to replace our previous floor stand speakers was part of the process. I was concerned about unwanted reverb and sound from the speaker sitting directly on the cabinet. After some research, I added some sound deadening to the cabinet and ordered a set of IsoAcoustics Aperta stands to place the D9's on and I couldn't be happier - we've not experienced any unwanted sound using this set-up. :)These stands also add a really nice finishing touch to the set-up and look very, very professional. Everyone that has seen them has commented and asked about them. I've used the foam stands in other locations (office desktop with studio monitors, etc.) and they also work well but they wouldn't have the same professional look.Summary: I am very, very happy with and recommend this product. These are a bit pricey but I think worth the cost in the end based on the performance results and the high-end look they bring the set-up.
