This is a very well made book. It comes with what is needed in order to identify issues with noticing color. Overall I like this product and would definitely recommend it.

This has been a unique addition to my book collection. I love the topic and have been partially color blind since I was young.

My father is color-blind which I understand means each of my sons have a 50/50 chance of ending up color-blind. Although I tested my oldest son’s vision with online images, I know that those may not be as accurate based on the color settings of my device. I am happy to report that it appears, via these cards that my oldest son (5yr old) is not color blind 😃👍. My youngest who is 2yrs old could also name some of the numbers on the cards, so hopefully it will also be the case for him.You can review these in book form or unfold them to make one long strip of cards. It includes an eye piece to help test each eye separately. It contains information about the test and how to use the cards.This book is not cheap, but is cheaper than a visit to the eye doctor (especially if you don’t have insurance). In addition to being helpful for testing my kids vision, it is also just an interesting book to have in my library and to bring out when we have guests.

This 38 plate edition of Ishihara's test for red-green color deficiency is very useful in the office. I like that it includes many tracing plates so you can also use it for children or adults who do not know numbers, too. This set includes a booklet with very clear explanations of each plate and what they mean. For the price this is a steal! It is nice that they also include a plastic excluder. However, the plastic occluder is made of thin material and bends easily. So it will break quickly. The main thing to know is this test is designed for this is only designed for testing red and green color deficiency. Also, you must be careful to make sure that the patients do not touch the plates. The oil from their skins can change the plates overtime. So it is best to test the patient yourself so they do not touch it directly. This book is sturdy and should for many years in your office. I also like that it comes in its own box so you can store it for extra protection, too. I am very pleased with the quality of this product and the price point.
