This is not a 3/8-24 die but a 3/8-16 die. After many frustrating days of trying to clean up a 3/8-24 thread on my antenna mount with this -16 and not being able to fasten any -24 nuts, it finally dawns on me that I was sold a crap part. I measured this with a pair of calipers to confirm that is mislabeled. It's ironic that this this part purportedly comes from Irwin. Now I'm out of $70 (cost my antenna) because the threads are messed up. I can't install it. I have to go buy another antenna. Shame on you, seller, for selling bad parts!

The die is actually 3/8-16NC. It is marked (and advertised) as 3/8-24NF.
